  • Group Getaway

"A group of us just spent the weekend in Prescott and stayed in this wonderful and spacious home. We had a great time in the game room and racquet ball court. The young children had picnics and played on the lawn. The spa and outdoor deck were beautiful in the evening. It is such a short drive into town, but we found ourselves preferring to stay in and enjoy the house. Definitely planning on making it an annual trip."

  • Perfect for big groups!!

"There were 13 in our group (4 different families) ranging in age from 9 to 70- this house was the perfect set up for us. We called it "the compound", because the property has 3 buildings all connected by an amazing wrap around deck. Since there are 3 buildings we never felt like we were on top of each other. There was plenty of room to spread out. It backs up to the woods, so it was a very private setting. There was a fireplace outside, but we never used it due to all the snow on the ground. The main house has 5 very nice size bedrooms...2 upstairs that share a big bathroom with 2 sinks, the master is on the main floor with it's own bathroom, fireplace and door that leads to the deck, 2 large bedrooms down in the walk-out basement also with a bathroom. The kitchen has a nice big table, double ovens, a fireplace. The great room has plenty of seating and a fireplace. The guest house has 2 big bedrooms and they share a bathroom. The game room has a pool table, shuffle board and darts. There is a fireplace in there too! Since we were there in the winter we put all 4 of those fireplaces to work all day long! Sunrise is a 30 minute drive. Safeway is just a few minutes away, so if you forget something it's not a huge deal. Since there was so many of us we planned all of our meals and ate at "the compound". We did get pizza one night from Red Devil and that was really good. James was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone heading to Pinetop. We all had a great time and hope to make it back!"

  • Lovely property

"A completely equipped comfortable home with lots of lovely amenities. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. The living room furniture is comfortable and attractive. We loved the outdoor patio off the dining area. We highly recommend."

  • Cute little A-frame cabin

"This place is in a very convenient location in Prescott. Much better than staying in town at a hotel. The carpet in the first level shows a bit of wear and certain finishes are a bit rustic or dated but it was clean and private. The views are excellent and frankly what makes this a place to stay. It can sleep 4 but would be a bit tight for 4 people in my opinion. Beds are in the loft and it is a steep stair climb to the loft and the ceiling cuts in at the top of stairs. Not a problem for us, but if you have a problem with stairs or a disability, you may have a difficulty getting to the bedroom. We were there in a hot month and was about 90 in the day time. Even though it cools off at night, the loft (bedroom) didn't really cool down enough to be comfortable. There is a portable AC in daybed area outside of bedroom but that air doesn't really reach the bedroom. That would be the only real complaint. I would recommend staying here if you're visiting Prescott."
