  • Home away from home!

"All the comforts...My wife and I were town for an annual conference and chose to stay at the Carefree Casita for the second year, instead of the conference center to make it feel more vacation-like. We've tried other places in the area but have now stopped looking. This one is just perfect!"

  • A Lovely Spot for a Carefree Family Gathering

"This spacious home with its three en-suite bedrooms and multiple outdoor patio areas was a great gathering place for our family members, who travelled there for Christmas from their homes in Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The clean, well-equipped house provided a variety of ways for us to comfortably spread out or come together throughout the week. The living room with its cozy fireplace and large-screen television was a favorite spot for some while others enjoyed quiet moments reading in the adjacent sitting area. And our dog happily wandered the large enclosed outside area from which he could watch through the fence for rabbits or javelinas that inhabit the neighborhood. It's a nice quiet neighborhood with a rural desert feel while still very close to the center of Carefree."

  • Painted Carefree

"We've just returned home after 2 weeks at the Painted Carefree. Found Susan and Teri very friendly and easy to work with. The house was delightfully quirky with lots of personal touches which made it feel like home. The outside area was fabulous, private and spacious. The garden was lovely and the pool was amazing. We saw lots of birds and animals and the bobcat once, but unfortunately no camera. There are lots of supermarkets and deli's nearby with plenty of restaurants in Cavecreek. The town of Carefee is worth a look with the biggest sundial ever (and it was accurate). It's just the place for a lovely relaxing holiday and we would love to go back again."

  • Best villa in Carefree

"We loved this villa- spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated. It had every amenity we wanted. Carefree is away from freeways, a quiet location with great hiking, golf, scenic.drives. We attended many activities in the area- art and wine festivals, Hopi hoop dancing. It is close enough to Scorrsdale to enjoy attractions there also. We will be back."
