  • Loved the condo....a home away from home

"We stayed here the month of January 2016 and despite lower than average temperatures we had many pleasant afternoons by the heated pool. The condo is nicely decorated in Arizona-style and the amenities provided for a comfortable month in Paradise Valley, a wonderful part of Phoenix area. Enjoyed the view from our balcony which was scenic but quiet, away from any traffic noise. The grounds were immaculate and cared for daily. Spent some quiet time on a bench in the cactus garden. There is a clubhouse and gym which we used a few times only. Loved the fact that Anasazi Village is located so close to many food stores with Whole Foods and Fry's being two of our favourites. Also Trader Joe's, Albertson's and Sprouts all less than 5 minutes away. And we got to try some new restaurants such as Bonefish Grill, Longhorn, Paradise Bakery and our absolute favourite Rosconi's. Shopping is a walk away to TJ Maxx, Steinmart, Paradise Valley Mall and Ross a short drive away., Would definitely return to this condo if the Canadian dollar improved."

  • Could Not Have Been Better!

"We are already booked to go back next year. First impression of the condo is 'Wow!' While not over the top, it was exactly as promised - very clean, updates, well-stocked, well laid out; everything was there. The hand-written welcome note, water and bottle of wine was the first of many nice touches from the condo owner - Fiona. She wanted to ensure a pleasant stay and she did - coming over within the first 24 hours to ensure we were familiar with everything in the condo including the grounds, the facilities and the many pools (5) of the Anasazi complex. The condos are mostly owned and often occupied by very friendly seniors. The grounds, lying alongside and overlooking Stonecreek Golf Course, are peaceful, well-kept and quiet leading to an atmosphere of calm serenity. (Yes, it was that nice.) The location at Cactus and Tatum. is situated across the street from a major mall (Macy's, Dillard's Sears, etc.); adjacent to a Costco, Walmart, Target and many other smaller retail and off-sale stores - TJ Maxx, Steinmart and more. My wife was able to walk over and shop to her heart's content (which she and we did)! Major Grocery stores - Fry's, Albertson's, Whole Foods are close as well. Many restaurants are located around the mall - Oinks (great breakfast), Chompies (deli), Oregano's (pizza), Chipotle(Mexican) and just a touch further away, the Olive Garden and Red Lobster. Within easy driving distance are some fine dining resorts which all had fabulous happy hour specials (Thanks for the recommendations, Fiona). Actually, you can get anywhere in greater Phoenix relatively easily from this condo - to and from the airport is usually only 20 minutes away. We are active seniors who have stayed in many condos, in Greater Phoenix, Florida, and Hawaii over the years; This was the first condo we ever said "We actually could do without a car for most of our stay." Considering value (pricing versus cleanliness, comfort, convenience), this condo is 'second to none'. Thanks Fiona, we'll definitely recommend you and Anasazi to our friends and will see you next year!"

  • SUPERB!

"After spending the month of October in Sigrid and Manfred's condo we have been spoiled for ever more. In our many years of using vrbo this accommodation tops everything. It wa decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean, and most importantly was furnished with EVERYTHING one could possibly need or want. The kitchen was well supplied including food, condiments and treats. Sigrid and Manfred were gracious and generous in every way. We cannot recommend their condo too highly, and look forward to our next visit."

  • Anasazi Village 314B, Bldg.11

"It was very convenient to everything, including Mayo Clinic, which was the purpose of our stay. The buildings and grounds are very well kept. We appreciated the view of the pool and clubhouse, rather than looking at someone's patio. Loved the washer/drier in unit, free long distance calls everywhere in U.S. and the spaciousness of the unit. The trash, recycling and mail delivery systems are all very convenient."
