  • A Home away from Home, peaceful and relaxing

"My husband and I stayed in Dave's wonderful home for two months, after my husband's bone marrow transplant. It was within 30 minutes from The Mayo Hospital in Phoenix and 20 minutes from the Mayo Scottsdale. Such a convenient home along the golf course. The home is beautifully decorated and is equipped with all the things you need in a home. The backyard patio has a grill and chairs and table and is fenced in the backyard, so my 50 lb dog loved it back there. It also gave me a sense of security that she wouldn't jump over and run away. The neighborhood is very clean and beautifully landscaped and you feel so safe in Red Mountain Ranch. The location is convenient to grocery stores and all sorts of restaurants and retail stores. Dave was a wonderful landlord and was so receptive and accommodating. I would recommend this wonderful home if you want to get away from the busy Phoenix metro or Scottsdale, but close enough to everywhere in the Phoenix area. It's 20 minutes from Sky Harbor International airport. Thank you again Dave, we will contact you if we ever come back to AZ."

  • Very Comfortable Home Away From Home

"We stayed here for three weeks and it was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for home cooked meals. The master bedroom was very large and the bed was wonderful, king size and perfect firmness and definitely the highest bed I’ve ever slept in. The living and dining areas were nice and open with lots of natural daylight. And Cynthia and Rob were great, easy to deal with and quick to respond to questions. And I can’t say enough about how great the location was. When you walk outside, there is 18 miles of “greenbelt” walking trail which we took advantage of and walked with our dog (in addition to a dog park across the street) and also rode our bikes along it. It felt like everything was 5-15 minutes from here. Two blocks away was a Safeway, 5 minutes away was yoga, LA Fitness and a post office. We could bike to downtown Scottsdale, there’s a nice canal there that you can also hike/bike along. Easy access to so many beautiful hikes – pinnacle peak, papago park, camelback mtn, brown’s ranch, piestawa peak, and many more! And of course, so many wonderful restaurants. It was a great three weeks, thank you Cynthia and Rob!"

  • Great Accommodation & Location

"This is a lovely example of rural accommodation and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-month stay in the rental. It is very spacious, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and two sitting areas. It is very well equipped and everything is in good repair. It is finished in a south western style decor, which was in keeping with the area and home. The rear yard had sun for almost all of the day but there is ample shade on the patio and even two pull-down shades. The whole property was fenced, which was ideal for us with a dog and had many trees/bushes along the perimeter which made for a good level of privacy. The front yard has three fruit tress (orange, grapefruit & lemon) which the owners were happy for us to use and the fruit was delicious!! Although the rental is rurally located, it is also very close to a variety of amenities - there are two supermarkets and a YMCA with a gym & swimming pool within 5 minutes and a library within 10 minutes. Cave Creek & Carefree, two quaint outlying villages, are also within 10 minutes and there are numerous desert trails for hiking/biking/running close by. The owners, who live locally, are very friendly and responded extremely quickly to a couple of small repairs that were required during our stay. We are returning for next winter!!!!"
