  • Excellent 2-bedroom condo at Racquet Club in Scottsdale

"This was our second year in a row staying at the Jungels' condo at the Racquet Club - once again, we loved it. The facilities are fantastic: you're surrounded by tennis, a variety of swimming pools and hot tubs, and activities that my mother enjoys very much such as book clubs and bridge. It's got great proximity to restaurants, shops, and other Phoenix sites like Taliesin West and The Musical Instrument Museum. A very quick drive down to Old Town Scottsdale to see the famous Art Walk. The Scottsdale Ranch area, where the Racquet Club is located, has a great variety of options for cycling and running (I jogged almost daily on the nearby Green Belt pathway system.) And you're very close to all the mountain hikes in the Phoenix area. Paul and Jennifer maintain a lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom home and it's extremely comfortable, clean and well-stocked with everything you'll need for your stay in Scottsdale. Very highly recommended!"

  • Beautiful Condo in a great location

"The condo is very beautiful and clean. It is decorated very nicely with high end finishes. The condo is completely updated and the property is well kept. It was a very nice location for us because we have friends that live all over Scottsdale so it was centrally located. The pool and work out room was very nice and the condo is located right next to the pool. But remember the condo is on the 3rd floor, not an issue for us but if you have physical limitations you should remember this. The owner was very easy to work with. We would definitely rent this unit again or recommend it to our friends. They were a little stingy with the towels and the beach towels were small bath towels. We did not want to spend time washing towels all the time so we just bought some extra towel sets and beach towels that we could take home with us. The bedding is really beautiful and luxurious but they only had nice heavy comforters. I always bring a light weight blanket with me and I was glad we had it. In fact we did not use the comforter at all we folded it up and stored in the closet. There is a really nice french restaurant and a sports bar type restaurant just outside the complex and we walked there several times. At one time there was a Starbucks and AJ's in the same shopping center. Sadly they are no longer there. The closest coffee shops(Einsteins and Dunkin Donut) are about 2 miles away. The Starbucks is a little farther away. We do like to walk so we walked there almost everyday."

  • Wonderful private family vacation home

"I recently rented this house for 2 months (Feb & March 2016) and loved it. My daughter, son-in-law & their new baby were with me for 5 wks. Coming from the cold of Chicago, we truly enjoyed our first snow-birding experience. Both of the kids worked remotely so the WiFi was extremely important. We had plenty of room to spread out. The patio & Pool furniture were great. What fun to be able to sit outside in the cool shade and work/play on the computer! Our favorite feature was the backyard & Pool. The fence & plantings made it completely private. The table & chairs were shaded all day which was perfect for us. The rest of the pool area was sunny & restful. The palm trees, grass & flowering bushes made the yard feel lush & cozy. The master bedroom & bath are enormous. The master TV was not working & when I mentioned it, the owners had it promptly replaced & upgraded. Master located on first floor. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are smaller but adequate sized with Queen beds & dressers. Upstairs bath had 2 sinks, good counter space & tub/shower. There were plenty of extra sheets & towels for all rooms. The kitchen was well equipped & modern. Tons of dishes, silverware & glassware. Washer & dryer worked great. Large TV in Family room which is open to kitchen. We pretty much lived in here. Breakfast nook is also good work space. The location was super convenient. Only a few minutes to Safeway & Walgreens. 15 minute drive to downtown Scottsdale where we enjoyed many of the restaurants. Less than 10 minute drive to Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home & school.) Easy access to 101. About 20 minute drive to airport. Super easy to get around. Handyman was available with a simple phone call. This home has 1 step up/down into many of the rooms so I wouldn't recommend for wheelchair users. This is a lovely home and I would definitely stay again."
