  • Perfect Base in a Quiet Place

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming casita. the space was perfect for the two of us. The area is very quiet and the location is central to most things in Scottsdale. Cindy, the owner had wonderful suggestions on dining and hiking and we enjoyed some truly remarkable meals. There is a hiking trail just a few feel away from the door of the casita which is reserved for the neighborhood but connects to main trails in the McDowell Mountain Preserve. The community pool is wonderful and well maintained. We had it to ourselves which was wonderful! The bed is quite comfortable, and the gas fireplace is a nice addition to chilly nights. There is a wonderful steam shower which was a nice addition. We would plan to stay here again and recommend it for an individual or a couple."

  • Good stay.

"A good stay, I'd say the condo is average. The important stuff for me is always that it's clean, kitchen has your basics to make meals, feeling of safety, and easy to get to. It had all this! The rooms were good size and I thought the beds were comfortable. The pool is heated, which is one of the main reasons we came back to same complex, the kids loved that! There was a gas grill in the bigger pool area we used to make burgers one night. Only glitch was we never got an arrival info email. So we had to try and contact someone on a Saturday to get keys, parking info, etc. Luckily, they got back to us pretty quickly and we had the info we needed to get into the condo. We stayed in the same complex but different unit in the past and that had been all taken care of ahead of time. There is a lot nearby: restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and not far from hiking areas. We liked the Skeptical Chymist for good variety of craft beer and good food, even healthy options."
