  • Beautiful house in exquisite setting!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 1/2 days at this beautiful home in Tubac AZ. The house was amazing and the setting for the property itself was beautiful. It was extremely quiet because behind the home is unspoiled land and hiking trails. There are birds to see and hear galore. The house is so well equipped we had everything we needed and more. We have stayed at other places in Tubac but they don't come close to this charming house and property. We read, rested, hiked, shopped a little and mainly unwound and came home relaxed and happy. We highly recommend escaping city life and heading for Tubac and this top notch vacation rental."

  • Great experience--A real find!

"We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Alma's Cottage in Patagonia. Rachel the property manager, was very helpful before we arrived, and the owners, Kathleen and Gary were very friendly and helpful as well. You can tell they have a lot of pride in ownership and care about their guests. The cottage is right in the middle of Patagonia, within walking distance of everything. It is a very nice size, is well furnished and maintained and really unique. There is nothing you need to bring other than yourselves as it has a full kitchen. The courtyards in front and back are very peaceful with fountains as well. There are several nice places to eat in Patagonia, and even more in Sonoita , which is a short 10-15 minute drive . We highly recommend Gathering Grounds, across the street from the cottage , for breakfast and lunch. It's family run and very friendly with good food and coffee.Same with Velvet Elvis and also The Café in Sonoita. We stopped in for tastings at the Callaghan and Flying Leap wineries, both of which had very friendly owners and excellent wine.In addition, the Patagonia Lake State Park is a short drive and worth going to. All in all, it was a great weekend and we highly recommend staying at the cottage."

  • A very happy Thanksgiving!

"This was our second visit to Under the Oaks and we loved every minute of it. It's the perfect family retreat after a day of hiking or exploring the area, with everything you need in a kitchen, two cozy sitting areas with fireplaces, comfty beds, and wonderful birding from the sunroom or patio (or kitchen window for that matter!) We will definitely be back."
