  • Great Condo to rent!

"This condo was very clean, beautify decorated and stocked with everything we needed. We were visiting family in Sahuarita, and this condo was just a short car ride away. I look forward to renting it again on a future visit. Thank you for everything Maryann and Richard!"

  • Absolutely perfect

"This was our first time in Hummingbird Casista, but not our first in Patagonia. We LOVED this house, it's location so convenient to everything. The house itself was spotlessly clean - we had a problem w/LR TV, and the owners were there promptly and . it. We had our small dog with us, and the fenced patio and dog run were great. There were some spices, etc. in kitchen, so we pretty much had what we needed, and if not, the market and Red Mtn. stores were nearby. It is very close to the famous birding in the area, and the lake is not far away. Also, Nogales is only 20 min. away, with larger big box stores if needed. We cannot praise this listing enough, and will hopefully be back again. All the locals are so friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed in this home away from home."

  • Loved it, loved it, loved it

"Now that we're settled back into our routine, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful stay we had at your house. It was so pretty and perfect for us. I loved the early mornings and early evenings with the gentle wind blowing, I would open the kitchen windows for a bit and listen to all the birds getting ready for their day or settling in for the evening or we would sit in the yard in the patio area. I enjoyed the little lizards that look like they're doing pushups and the Quails that would quickly run past you. We loved the quiet. We got to learn the roads and how to bypass getting on the interstate whenever possible. We even went to the farmers market downtown by the San Juan. That was fun..food, music, the Arizona pistachios that we love and some delicious honey and a memorable Sonoran sno cone. We went somewhere different every day and loved every minute we were there. We loved coming back to our lavender house in the desert. Again, thank you. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom house on 2 acres of desert property near Saguaro National Park West. It was Easy to navigate into the city. Property is spacious and clean. Very relaxing. Kitchen has everything and more that you could want, as do the linen closets and bathrooms. We would definitely rent this wonderful home again when we are in the area."

  • So Relaxing

"We spent two nights in the Cowboy Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable, very cozy. It had all of the kitchen and bath furnishings we needed. After three nights of camping, it was fantastic to just bake a frozen pizza! I really appreciated that the porch had plenty of hummingbird feeders and looked out onto woodland. Lots of other birds stopped by. It felt very secluded, and was very quiet. The Hummingbird Cabin is a nice distance away and there are plenty of trees so you can barely even see it. Always deer and turkeys in the yard, and peacocks calling. We pushed the twin beds together to make a king. It was very comfortable. It was unexpectedly nice to be in bed and still watch the TV that's in the "living room" (sleeping area and living room/dining room are all one large room). There's lots of seating, inside and out. Harry and Judy were out of town, so we worked with their son Randy, who was super nice and very helpful. The cabins are in Ramsey Canyon, so it's a great base camp for visiting other birding hot spots in the area. We visited Carr, Ash, and Miller Canyons all with very little travel time between them and our home away from home. Not far from the San Pedro House, either. One thing to note is that people with mobility issues should realize there are several steps in the bathroom area. You have to use them to reach the toilet and shower. Also to enter the cabin by the porch. Not a negative, just something to be aware of. Anyway, a great stay and I already want to come back again!"
