  • The owner rates an A+ for her hospitality. Location is perfect--near Anza Trail, shopping, culture.

"Size was perfect for 2 plus our dog. Comfortable Q bed, plenty of hot water, lots of light from 3 large sliding glass doors, but privacy in the mesquite forest, colorful decor reflecting proximity to MX, stacked washer/dryer, and all clean and cozy. The stocked kitchen exceeded our expectations. Tubac has many unique shops and galleries catering to tourists and collectors of fine art. History abounds as well as a mixing of cultures. The location is ideal for exploring Patagonia Lake State Park, Pena Blanca Lake, The Nature Conservancy, Madeira Canyon, just to name a few natural areas a short drive away. As birders, we enjoyed seeing over 150 species in the "off season" of January! We are returning January 2018, so an indication of our satisfaction."

  • Quiet and Well Equipped in a Beautiful Setting

"We had a great stay. The place has everything you need need for your trip. Fully equipped kitchen, smartly decorated, comfortable beds and quality linens. The manager saw that our arrival went smoothly and checked back to make sure we were happy. The place is very dog friendly with a fenced in yard. Just a 5 minute drive to Sonoita for groceries and dining. No wi-fi or cable TV but our cell phone reception was good and the local TV reception excellent. Spent most afternoons on the back porch and enjoyed the sunsets. We will be back the next time thru the area."

  • Clean, Quiet and Comfortable

"We had visited Tubac, but never stayed there before our 2 night rental. This house was perfect. It's in a small complex with a few other units, but is a stand alone house with a private backyard and a wonderfully private sky deck where you can see the mountains during the day and the stars at night. We could even see the Milky Way which is a treat for city dwellers who rarely have such dark skies. The house was fully furnished and included paper products in the baths and kitchen. We didn't use the TV nor the washer and dryer during our short stay, but those are great to have available. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants (Soto's is very good) and a wine tasting room (Flying Leap has some great wines and try their dark chocolate, it's yummy!) Yet the house is just far enough away from the center of things to be very quiet. For birders it's just a short walk to the De Anza trail. But there are great birds to see even in town such as the Chihuahuan Raven, Ladder-backed Woodpecker, and Northern Harrier. If we ever need a place to stay in Tubac again, we will definitely rent this house. We loved it and highly recommend it to others."
