"If a quiet, relaxing getaway with all of the comforts of home is what you desire, this is the perfect vacation rental! Judy was the perfect hostess, making sure everything we needed was available at this beautiful, spotless townhome, even greeting us with a celebratory bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary! Located in a very well-maintained, quiet neighborhood, yet close to all conveniences, with easy access to shopping and good restaurants, it was easy to feel "at home" here. The townhome is a very spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath home, with a finished garage - a bonus in desert life! Bird watching, shopping, golf, hiking - all are easy to do here. But this home says "Relax!" The townhome's peaceful setting is perfect for artists, writers, and those whose creativity is inspired by nature's beauty and tranquility. We enjoyed the patio and beautiful mountain views daily, and took shopping excursions to the interesting, ecclectic village of Tubac, only a few miles down the road; visited the world-class Pima Air and Space Museum on the southern edge of Tucson, an easy 30 minute drive away; explored trails and mountain roads all in and around the Green Valley area. It's all here: beauty, history, nature and exciting tastes - it was the perfect home base for our vacation."

  • This house has it all!!

"Want to get out of the Phoenix heat, but not go too far? This is a great option for you! My husband and I spent some time at this charming house in June of this year and it was perfect! The house has everything you could possibly want from ample space, plenty of dishes, comfortable bed, TV, BBQ and an amazing outdoor area to gaze at the stars. Seriously, it is truly a treat to go outside after the sun goes down and stare at the beautiful, unobstructed view of the stars with no city lights! We spent a couple days just lounging in the comfort of the home playing board games and relaxing feeling like we were millions of miles from Phoenix. We spent a morning walking the trails that are literally right out the back door then the afternoon by the neighborhood pool. We were able to even take an excursion to Lake Patagonia to picnic and experience the cool lake water, it’s a mere 45 minutes away! Take advantage of the small town feel by hitting some of the local shops with awesome knick-knacks for your yard and there are plenty of yummy restaurants nearby too. Plus, the golf course that part of Tin Cup was filmed at has a great outdoor café that we stopped at on our way into town for a drink. Finally, the best part is if you don’t live in Arizona, but want to visit, it’s less than an hour from the Tucson Airport. The owners were super helpful and accommodating, we highly recommend this house and hope to get back sometime in the winter for a whole different experience!"

  • Extraordinary views; beautiful home

"The rental house is beautiful, and perfect for up to two couples, as the two bedrooms, each with a bathroom, are on opposite sides of the house. The fireplace is perfect for cool evenings and draws perfectly; there was no hint of smoke in the house. The owner, Brian, was very easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The best thing about the house, though, is the location. About a 10-minute easy drive north of Patagonia, the main porch of the house faces south, and the views are incredible. The house is perched on a hill and you can see for many miles east, south, and west. The sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, and birdwatching are all terrific right at the house. In addition to the resident Say's Phoebe and house finches, we had broad-billed hummingbirds, black-chinned hummingbirds, grey hawks, and vermillion flycatchers right at the house. Views from the bedrooms are great, too. There are no near neighbors. You can hike right from the house, for birdwatching purposes, and it's less than a half-hour drive to sites for more serious birding and hiking. Madera Canyon is only about an hour away. I cannot imagine any better place to stay in this part of Arizona. I feel very lucky that we found it, and I hope to return again someday."

"Bill's home is just beautiful. The pictures do not do the property justice - the home is lovely, spacious bedrooms and living space and nicely furnished. The house is walking distance to tubac shops and restaurants and the neighborhood is quant. Bill was very accommodating and a gracious host. He responds promtply and very hospitable."
