  • An oasis in the desert!

"I recently had the good fortune to stay at Patio House for 4 weeks! Everything about my stay was perfect. The furnishings are stunning. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. The patios are secluded, quiet and peaceful. The grounds throughout the complex are meticulously maintained - it felt like I was living in a park! Being from Washington, I loved to see so much greenery. I highly recommend a stay at Patio House! I certainly hope to make a return trip! Thank you Christi and Paul for sharing your home with me!"

  • Fantastic stay in an straight-out-of-a-magazine mid century architectural gem

"We had a wonderful stay with our family of 6 (4 adults / 2 kids 7 & 11). The vibe of the house was excellent - we loved the architecture, floor to ceiling windows, spacious rooms, and great views. We were fortunate to have perfect Tucson hot weather - a nice relief from the East Coast chill. The deck was nice to spend time out on, and the pool area was perfect for us - nice chairs and umbrellas under a cloudless sky. And pool time was great - we went in several times per day with the pool heated. Plenty of pool toys and lots and lots of towels which let us avoid having to constantly do laundry. The mid-century decor was perfect down to the details - Eames chairs and a great double-sized built in sofa in a living room with plenty of room for all of us to hang out. We loved the aesthetic of the desert landscaping and our kids got a kick out of seeing a few lizards scurrying around. The Foothills area where the house is located is a beautiful area not too far from everywhere. First time back in Tucson since college in the 90s, and the town has really grown and developed significantly. Excellent food shopping nearby down the road from the house at Bashas, and nice spa luxuriating at the Spa at Lowe's Ventana Canyon. Loved brunch at Prep & Pastry (hip & tasty). Downtown has grown in a major way - we enjoyed grilled cheese on an inside out donut with local beers and craft whiskey at Batch, yummy Poke and creative sushi at Obon, and a fun visit to the legendary Hotel Congress. Real deal Mexican Food at BK, and an enjoyable breezy night game of UofA Softball on campus. And oh yeah: In-N-Out Burger - because Double Double [Protein Style] (undeniable). Nice treats in the fridge upon arrival, and small house requests were easily and quickly fulfilled by Anne. We'd be happy to come back again!"

  • Excellent place to stay with groups

"I’m a visiting professor at the U of A and I always stay at the Palo Verde House, I’ve stayed several times with my professional team as well as my family, and we love it. After a long day in the lab the Palo Verde House is always a great escape. We keep coming back year after year, I think we’ve been there five or six times! The long shaded porch and the jacuzzi and the large pool and amazing garden and mountain views, its always a refuge from the East Coast winter. Yet were close to the University, where I need to be. The kids love it, and with young kids because of the walls you never have to worry about them wandering off or getting on the road. The property manager is highly responsive and always ready to troubleshoot problems."

  • Loved it !!

"I Loved staying at Fran and Charlie's Place! They are warm and welcoming and it felt like "home away from home". Fran went above and beyond with her treats, hospitality and overall kindness! I felt like I have known her for years! The location is great with easy access to anywhere I wanted to go. I personally like being in an older neighborhood of Tucson, rather than a suburb or new development."
