  • Very Peaceful Setting

"Having to come down in the heat of summer we did not know what to expect. We only stayed at the Casita to sleep and have morning coffee because of family commitments, but it was the perfect resting place for us. Very quiet and a beautiful sitting area for our morning coffee. We can only imagine how beautiful the sunsets are. We would love to find the time to spend a few weeks in the winter. We are sure it has to be one of the most relaxing places you could find. We only got to meet the owners one morning but I assure you that they will help to make your stay very pleasurable."

  • Wonderful stay great location!

"Forgive me for taking so long in giving my review of this great property. This is not my first time at This guest house and I truly hope it won't be my last. Pictures don't do it justice . lovely front room, large bed room, great walk-in closet and wonderful laundry room. And the best kitchen! Well decorated and very comfortable with the air-conditioning. Great location so central to all our needs. Private yard so I can go out on the patio and have my coffee to listen to the birds in my lounge wear. Thank You Rex and Rita, for my wonderful stay!"

  • BACK IN TIME

"A senior German couple, we enjoyed the two weeks of our stay and called that place a home - a comfortable one with much charm. You will find many memories of Old Mexico in style and architecture. Therefore the casita is not only a secluded getaway to enjoy a lazy day or a starting point for adventurous hikes into the nearby mountains and the Sonoran desert (beginning with the easy stroll through the fantastic Sonora Desert Museum only a few miles away) but also an inspiring "base camp" from where you can travel back in time: to the reminders of the "Spanish Entrada" (Presidio Tubac, Missions San Xavier del Bac and Tumacacori), to the atmosphere of the Wild West (much more than only visiting the tourist trap of "Old Tucson" nearby), and to so many places where Apache Indians lived their secret lives or lurked for landhungry immigrants, greedy miners or Cavalry patrols, lost in the deserts. Yes, on our last day in the casita we played ourselves "Apache Scout Sentinel" high on the cliffs of two Saguaro studded Beehive buttes in front and behind the Casita. We would be very happy to return to this pittoresque and hospitable spot some day."

  • Beautiful home!

"My husband, daughter, and I vacationed in Tucson in late June, and we were absolutely amazed at how beautiful and comfortable this home is. It was well equipped with supplies, and coming "home" to this after a long day of playing in Tucson was a real treat. Our daughter loved splashing in the pool, and we made some delicious meals in Ron's very impressive kitchen! Everything about the house was just wonderful, and Ron generously answered all of our questions. We definitely plan to return to Tucson some day, and Ron will be the first person we call!"
