  • An oasis in the desert!

"I recently had the good fortune to stay at Patio House for 4 weeks! Everything about my stay was perfect. The furnishings are stunning. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. The patios are secluded, quiet and peaceful. The grounds throughout the complex are meticulously maintained - it felt like I was living in a park! Being from Washington, I loved to see so much greenery. I highly recommend a stay at Patio House! I certainly hope to make a return trip! Thank you Christi and Paul for sharing your home with me!"

  • Lovely Home in Great Area of Tucson

"This home was great for my 6 week stay. It is exactly as portrayed and Eric and Julie are most accommodating if a question arises. It was 90 degrees when I arrived but the home stayed so cool I didn't notice for 3 weeks that I had not yet turned on the air conditioning. Due to my limited mobility, I used the big first floor bedroom and adjoining bath and my guests really loved the 2nd floor master suite. I did go up and check out the upstairs a couple of times but with 2 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms on the first floor, I was sitting pretty without having to deal with any stairs, just one 3 inch rise between the original and newer wings of the house, which was not a problem for me. The home is also furnished interestingly, with pieces from a number of countries. Everything is very pleasant and there are plenty of linens, dishes, kitchen appliances plus really comfortable beds. The central location is ideal for everything you want to do, whether it be national parks, art exhibits or things on the University campus. We did them all. It's a very quiet neighborhood too, yet there are many restaurants nearby, and some very good places to eat among them. The home itself is gated, with plenty of parking in the courtyard. It is a lot of space and Ioved every part of it!"

  • BACK IN TIME

"A senior German couple, we enjoyed the two weeks of our stay and called that place a home - a comfortable one with much charm. You will find many memories of Old Mexico in style and architecture. Therefore the casita is not only a secluded getaway to enjoy a lazy day or a starting point for adventurous hikes into the nearby mountains and the Sonoran desert (beginning with the easy stroll through the fantastic Sonora Desert Museum only a few miles away) but also an inspiring "base camp" from where you can travel back in time: to the reminders of the "Spanish Entrada" (Presidio Tubac, Missions San Xavier del Bac and Tumacacori), to the atmosphere of the Wild West (much more than only visiting the tourist trap of "Old Tucson" nearby), and to so many places where Apache Indians lived their secret lives or lurked for landhungry immigrants, greedy miners or Cavalry patrols, lost in the deserts. Yes, on our last day in the casita we played ourselves "Apache Scout Sentinel" high on the cliffs of two Saguaro studded Beehive buttes in front and behind the Casita. We would be very happy to return to this pittoresque and hospitable spot some day."

  • Gorgeous foothills home perfect for exploring Tucson!

"Perfect home base for exploring Tucson! This home has it all, very well appointed. The views are amazing day and night, especially from the spacious patio where we spent most of our time. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space with dining table, fire pit, pool and hot tub overlooking the city lights! The open kitchen was perfect for entertaining our friends, and well stocked for the variety of meals we prepared. The master suite was private and luxurious with a breathtaking sunrise view and private patio for our coffee each morning. Loved the in room Keirig! Our family members also appreciated spacious and comfortable accommodations in each guest room with King beds and TVs throughout. We had so much fun at Rons house and he responded quickly to any questions we had about the home. Thanks for the memories, we will definitely return!"
