  • Exquisitely quiet, serene, beautiful place to call home

"We stayed for a week in this very comfortable and beautifully decorated one bedroom apartment in November 2016. Highly recommend staying here when you are in the Tucson area. Very beautiful and quiet offering gorgeous mountain scenery view both east and west. The decor is beautiful and the kitchenette facilities met our needs for the week. We enjoy cooking our own meals and the double burner cooktop and toaster oven met all of our needs. There is even a rice cooker that can be used as a slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker, electric hot water pot, and microwave. A beautiful drive off the main road to this location brings you to this beautiful home away from home in Tucson complete with your own parking spot right outside the door. It sits about 6 miles from the Desert Museum and about 4 miles or so from Saguaro West National Park offering lots of desert and mountain hiking trails. Definitely would return and we have stayed in the owner's casita next door, Luminosa, 7 times in 6 years. Both are beautiful places to stay for a few days to several months. Cynthia is a gracious host and very accommodating to her clients."

  • Springtime in the southwest

"We found the perfect getaway spot in Tucson! Last March we loaded up the car and took a driving trip to Tucson from Denver. Since we were going for a month we also took the dog along. A large private back yard perfect for our pet and cocktails at sunset! Large spacious rooms with lots of southwest charm and character. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities when we wanted to stay in for the evening. So much to see and do with Sabino Canyon so close to the rental."

  • Tranquil, lovely retreat spot

"I was very impressed by this unit. The owner has stocked it so well with all the little things one might need. The decor is quite lovely, and the views from the porch and bedrooms are fabulous. The only advice for the owner is to not use the room deodorizers. There were 6 of them spaced around a relatively small two bedroom condo and it smelled very strongly of fake deodorizer smell. No problem, I went around and got the all and put them in a bag in the laundry closet. But I'd advise others to request they aren't used. There was no need for them, no bad smell they were hiding. Dealing with the owner or manager, Felipe, was very pleasant and he was prompt to answer any questions I had. Again, the attention to detail was very thoughtful: salt and pepper shakers, bottled water, new sponges, etc. I felt very taken care of in this safe, lovely condo."

  • Sturdy, comfortable, and well-located home base for Tucson visits

"We stayed over the Christmas 2016 holidays while visiting with family nearby. Liz & Shelley keep the house exactly as it appears in the photos -- clean and comfortable for multi-day stays. There is a Fry's supermarket and a Starbucks just a few blocks away to make life easy around the house. Quiet street."
