  • "The Desert Nature Channel"

"Read the previous 5 STAR reviews. It's all true. We were lucky to spend more than 4 months at this perfect place and yes, there was a resident owl above the front porch. And yes, the hosts are the best. If you want to look out the window at the "Desert Nature Channel " this is the place. We saw a gorgeous bobcat right by the living room window. Look for the Tucson musician Naim Amor, a former Parisian. His song "Creole" sets a perfect SW mood. Eat at "Seis" in the Mercado San Agustin. You will want to move to Tucson...we are !"

  • Eclectic house in an eclectic neighborhood. Great location! Beautiful gardens! Very peaceful.

"We had an enjoyable week at this property. We found the house and neighborhood a little underwhelming, but the beautiful gardens, and peaceful setting made up for it. The house was in a perfect location for seeing the sights. The house was clean, and well appointed."

  • Great little studio with historic charm

"Fit our needs perfectly for family weekend. Close to downtown and 1 mile from U of A. Debra was great! She met us on the property when we arrived even with our delays."

  • A great place to stay in a great place to play!

"I've stayed here a few times and have really enjoyed the view of the mountains, the desert life, and the nearby (biking distance) MTB trails. Saguaro West has a huge network of trails to explore. Tucson has a really cool downtown and is close enough for a night out but far enough to really feel like you're out in the desert. There are great kitchen amenities and satellite TV in the casita when you would rather relax. The roads are easy- I was able to drive around in a compact car. John, Anita, and dogs are great hosts. I would definitely recommend this spot for a couples get-away or for a small group of mountain bikers, climbers, and nature lovers."
