  • Another pleasant stay!

"We just got back from our three week stay in Tucson at Casa Indigo. It is so nice to be able to get outside of town and enjoy the quiet of the Desert and yet be so close. The house is nice and comfortable with plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen is well stocked as are the sheets and towels. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year."

  • A little piece of heaven

""Luxury Foothills Condo" describes it perfectly! My wife and I stayed here while our new house was being finished. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the friendly owner who answered all our questions and had everything ready for our arrival. It was obvious that the unit had been professionally cleaned as it was spotless! Not only is the condo fully furnished, but has been done so with beautiful interior design in mind. It overlooks the scenic Catalina Mountains and is within a gated condominium development with beautifully maintained landscaping. We especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub and work out gym. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to enjoy one of the most beautiful areas of Tucson that is close to shopping, hiking and great restaurants. Customer focused owner, beautiful place to stay...A little piece of heaven!"

  • Big , beautiful home with amazing view .

"Our group of six adults spent a week at this property and had a great time. The pictures are accurate but a little misleading as the scale of the rooms here is so large. I think the ornate front door is 12' tall.Rooms are large and clean.Beds are comfy. Weather was warm so our group spent most of our time on the huge covered patio (bigger than some houses I've lived in ). The fire pit was a little awkward to turn on ( the valve is being revised ) but was amazing in the evening with the city lights in the background. We were there at the end of September and the weather was cooler a couple of days. Since the pool is shaded from the sun much of the day this time of year, I recommend arranging for pool heat. The owner was eager to make sure we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with."

  • Delightful Diversion in the Desert

"Mr. McElwaine's deluxe casita at Starr Pass Resort was a wonderful vacation for us for the entire month of June 2016. Everything we needed for a relaxing getaway was provided, included a fully furnished kitchen, comfortable living room, tv's in each of the three rooms, and patio with outstanding view of the mountains. The location on the west side of Tucson is very convenient to most of the city and suburbs, and we were downtown or on the interstate in minutes - something you can't say about the other resorts we visited located on the north or east side of town. While wifi is not provided, we took the free Marriott shuttle several times up to the main resort and used the internet in the lobby or Starbucks. We also took advantage daily of the wonderful, large pool and exercise room mere steps from our door. A nice surprise was the appearance of a number of desert animals visible from our patio: javelinas, deer, coyotes, road runners and many types of birds. I appeciate the fact that the designers of the complex tried to leave the desert untouched which allowed the wildlife to exist as always in spite of the development. Dave, the owner, stopped in to check on us during our stay, giving us ideas on where to eat and what to see. His son, who lives in the vicinity, was helpful when there was a problem with the cable tv reception, and the problem was resolved quickly. The monthly charge for this 2 br, 3 ba condo was very competitive for the area and allowed us to enjoy a month here, rather than a week or two which had been our original plan. I would recommend this casita to any one of my friends looking for a long or a short stay in Tucson."
