  • So Relaxing

"We spent two nights in the Cowboy Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable, very cozy. It had all of the kitchen and bath furnishings we needed. After three nights of camping, it was fantastic to just bake a frozen pizza! I really appreciated that the porch had plenty of hummingbird feeders and looked out onto woodland. Lots of other birds stopped by. It felt very secluded, and was very quiet. The Hummingbird Cabin is a nice distance away and there are plenty of trees so you can barely even see it. Always deer and turkeys in the yard, and peacocks calling. We pushed the twin beds together to make a king. It was very comfortable. It was unexpectedly nice to be in bed and still watch the TV that's in the "living room" (sleeping area and living room/dining room are all one large room). There's lots of seating, inside and out. Harry and Judy were out of town, so we worked with their son Randy, who was super nice and very helpful. The cabins are in Ramsey Canyon, so it's a great base camp for visiting other birding hot spots in the area. We visited Carr, Ash, and Miller Canyons all with very little travel time between them and our home away from home. Not far from the San Pedro House, either. One thing to note is that people with mobility issues should realize there are several steps in the bathroom area. You have to use them to reach the toilet and shower. Also to enter the cabin by the porch. Not a negative, just something to be aware of. Anyway, a great stay and I already want to come back again!"

  • Encanto Estates Home

"My wife and I spent a month in this home. We have always enjoyed Green Valley and wanted to spend our 50th anniversary there. We very much appreciated the convenience of the location and the quality of the home. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very neat and clean. We loved the patio area and enjoyed the great view almost every night we were there. There is a lot to do in the area: Green Valley Community Performing Arts Center has great programs, lots of shows in Tucson (we love the Gas Light Theater), Pima Air and Space Museum, ... You will run out of time before you run out of things to do! This is a nice home and great location. We hope to return soon for another month (or Two)."

  • Wonderful Location

"I absolutely loved our stay at the Jailhouse Inn. The manager was super attentive and easy to talk to and the property was absolutely outstanding. I loved sitting on our stoop as the historic jeep tours paused and I even invited Canadian tourists to stick their head in and take a peek. I have bad knees so one of the features I loved most was the proximity to the Gulch and that the stairs were very manageable."
