  • Clean and quiet

"This ground floor condo is clean and quiet with beautiful tile floors. Very well maintained. I stayed for a week, mainly because very good friends of mine own and live in another condo in the same complex, which is gated. I felt totally secure. The bed is super comfortable and convinced me that very soon my wife and I must replace our old mattress at our house in Oregon. I attended the Palo Verde High School's Class of 1966 Fiftieth Reunion and visited family and friends, while I enjoyed this wonderful condo in my home town for a special week. Susan Sheldon is a perfect property manager, who visited my first afternoon. I highly recommend renting this condo."

  • Hiking Family

"We were looking to be well located for outdoor activities and this house worked out very well. We were able to get to many places to hike and sightsee, and sunsets were great. Although the house is in a very peaceful, beautiful and natural setting, we were also very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The owner was very responsive to our questions while booking and before the trip. The house was well-equipped and well-kept and, although huge, was very comfortable. The pool and spa were nice to look at, but were a bit hard to use due to the need to heat them (was December) in advance. If your goal is hiking this was a great location. If it's to see the city of Tuscon itself you might want to stay someplace closer to town."

  • Great views and scenery for relaxing by the pool.

"The view and location, plus the character and southwestern architecture were wonderful. The inside, however, had lots of stairs, and was decorated with outdated Asian decor. The stairs and upper level were not vacuumed and lots of stains on the carpet. I asked for cleaners to come back, but they never showed. The best part was the outdoor pool and spa and lovely patio! But beware, the owner controls the heat and turned the spa heat completely off for one of the days. It was in the mid to high 80s when we stayed and I switched the thermostat to cool and 74. The owner questioned me on it. The price and additional pool heat fees and other fees were high. I would have expected less micromanagement when I'm vacationing."

  • Beautiful desert location with homey feel

"We were very happy with the accommodation and setting of this gem. We were traveling with two small children and they enjoyed the house, watching the birds, boars and rabbits as well as the pool. The area around the home is beautifully maintained, I am not usually so fond of the desert (heat), but this place had me in love with it. The kitchen was well appointed for eating in, and we had a rough day prior to our stay so once we had provisions we didn't want to go anywhere. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope we can come again. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Tucson area."
