  • The Best

"This was our 3rd time staying in this lovely home and we loved it just as much as the other times! Preben is so nice to work with, the home is spectacular, the location is perfect. I just can't say enough about how much our family has enjoyed this home! Thanks Preben!"

  • Beautiful and Quiet

"This home is just as it is advertised. It's super close to Saguaro National Park. The home is beautiful and clean and the king size bed is super comfortable. The kitchen is perfect and the grapefruits we were left were delicious. We used the charcoal grill to grill steaks as well as relaxed on the porch next to the chiminea. We cooked all of our meals in the spacious kitchen and used the washer and dryer as well. The bathroom is large as is the shower. Having a second bathroom was just an added bonus. All and all a great stay."

  • Almost Perfect

"Where do I start? The title says it all, "Almost Perfect". It would be perfect if I owned it. By that I mean I could live there peacefully and quiet for the rest of my life. Gary and Bonnie made us feel welcome from the second we arrived. Gary and Bonnie are the best hosts you can ask for, we asked and they gave us numerous recommendations for food, hiking trails and other items. Bonnie and Gary are people that when you meet them, you feel like you have known them for 30 years. The casita is everything the pictures show, perfect for a few people. The location is ideal for almost anything you want to do in Tucson and surrounding area. We like to hike and there are a few trailheads 5 minutes from the house and we hiked over 60 miles in the 2 weeks we stayed there. The place has numerous animals on the property. A few horses, a donkey named Jasmine and a dog named Otis. If you have never experienced the night sky in the west, you should visit this place and gaze into the night sky after dark. You will experience stars as you’ve never seen them. Mt Lemon is a short drive away and well worth the drive. We are already planning next year’s trip to Tucson and we will definitely be staying here again. I would recommend this rental to anyone Jennifer and Everett Hovencamp, Dickerson, MD"

  • A very good place to stay while in Tucson!

"Our "casita" in the lost barrio was a very pleasant and comfortable spot during our stay in Tucson. The only downside was the lack of outlets, which is understandable since the building is 1929 vintage."
