  • Comfortable, private and great central location.

"So many times when you travel it's hard to find a place where you can relax and kick up your feet. This property lets you do that. It has all the convenience of home, comfy bed, furniture you can nap in and rest your body after a day of hiking at Mt. Lemmon. Great central location to all of Tucson. Kitchen is well stocked so you can make most anything and a very nice patio to have your morning coffee and watch the morning doves make a nest. The flowers are great too! We will most definitely be using this rental again."

  • Home away from home but with gorgeous sunsets!

"This is a great location to visit all the sights of Tucson and all of southern Arizona. This location was just perfect for sight seeing and relaxing. Of course we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each night and a few brief storms that blew through during the monsoon season. So enjoyed seeing the animals of the desert. A special treat one early morning landed a owl on the chimney and doing his hoo-hoo sound. This Casita has a nice space for even 3 adults. I enjoyed the full kitchen since we decided to eat in at the casita if we were there late afternoon and evenings. We really appreciated Cynthia's great hospitality upon arriving and leaving. We really love this area and are trying to work things out so we can retire here. We plan on returning to staying here again. Looking forward to that time."

  • Lovely, relaxing vacation

"Everything noted by earlier reviewers is true! This is a lovely home in a magical setting. It’s decorated wonderfully, and fully equipped. The kitchen is the best equipped that we’ve ever found in a VRBO. The location is perfect - away from congestion, but close enough to get places. It’s a reasonable drive to downtown Tucson, or to the Sonora Desert Museum, for example. Quarry Pines golf course nearby is recommended for golfers. We enjoyed a great vacation here: wine on the deck at sunset; coffee in the morning at sunrise; a few dinners out; a lot of local sightseeing; and much, much relaxation."

  • An oasis in the desert

"We chose this property because of the interesting descriptions and it being out of the way, but still close to central Tucson. We had a GREAT TIME. The Casita is large with plenty of room for the two of us and everything was well organized and completely comfortable. We enjoyed getting to know our hosts, Jim and Karen, over a few glasses of wine. They provided an unending source of information for places to go, things to see, and outstanding food. We came with a few of our days already scheduled and had no problems filling the rest of the time with either exploring the southern part of Arizona based on Jim and Karen's information, or just sitting back on our patio and watching the never ending parade of birds and other wildlife in their backyard. It was great to completely relax and unwind and experience a part of the country very different from even the desert we have in southern California. We would highly recommend this property and our hosts Jim and Karen!"
