  • Stunning house and property at the base of the Catalina Mts.!

"We have stayed in many VRBO properties in several states over the years and this truly was the best so far. The house is a showplace and the delightful owners have thought of every possible amenity to have on hand. We were there for an anniversary getaway, followed up by a family reunion over Thanksgiving. Both celebrations were accommodated perfectly. A lovely and romantic setting for our anniversary, we enjoyed beautiful views of the desert and sunsets, not to mention the incredible star-filled skies viewed from the salt water hot tub at night. When extended family arrived (an additional 4 adults and 2 teens), all were comfortably bedded, with lots of room for visiting and entertaining. The kitchen was exceptionally outfitted - we lacked for nothing when preparing large meals! Two of Tucson's biggest natural wonders--Sabino Canyon and Mt. Lemmon/Catalina Mts.--are close by. We will definitely be returning to this treasure!"

  • Really Nice Condo, Location

"The condo was in a great location, in the NE Tucson foothills just minutes from Sabino Canyon. It was a comfortable size for our party of four and was very clean and well stocked for out-of-town visitors. The patio offers a nice view of a courtyard on the grounds. While a ground-floor unit, it was very quiet. During our week, we met a very nice neighbor (permanent resident) and her granddaughter. The value-for-money was quite high and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Canyon Hideaway

"Enjoyed the month of December in this nicely laid out and decorated condo in a quiet neighbourhood at the base of the Catalina Mountains. Fabulous desert canyon walk/hike right out of the back gate of the complex. Only draw back is it is a bit of a drive to many attractions such as the museums and galleries downtown (30 minutes) or the Desert Museum, Old Tucson, and Mission San Xavier del Bac (40-50 minutes). Major carnivores may be put off by the lack of a grill on the pleasant screened deck/porch. Great resort golf course next door."

  • good not great

"nicely situated home, easy access to to Rillito river parkway, great for taking walks. mid town between downtown and the foothills which is also nice. good balcony with good views. the one complain, the furniture is dated, and not so comfortable., including the master bed. needs to be updated, with slightly higher end furniture. otherwise great."
