  • Historic Beauty with Great Views

"Beautifully restored home built in 1895. Three large bedrooms wth comfortable beds. A large Living room with a gas fireplace . A comfortable TV room , which we did not use much because we loved to sit on the spacious deck with a fantastic view . We cooked a few meals in the fully functional kitchen and ate in the beautiful large formal dining room. The moment we walked in the he door we felt at home. The property manager whom lives on the property was there to welcome us and was very knowledgeable of the history of the home and Clawson family. He was also helpful in suggestions of Resturants and entertainment. Large beautiful grounds with plenty of space for our two dogs, who were given homemade doggie treats daily. An experience we will never forget and WE WILL BE BACK."

  • 5 Star, Thumbs UP property

"Staying at this home in the NE Catalina Foothills parallels other properties owned by Rita Jann where I have visited: the retreat facility, La Tierra Sagrada, in Baja and The Park at Crystal Springs on the Applegate River in Oregon and The Light House in Sedona, AZ. All of these places have been amazing. This Sabino Canyon home has been another exquisite place to take in Rita Jann’s superb ability to make you feel right at home. She has done it again and you can always count on her to put together the best. Every place has been different and every place has given me such great delight. The experience has been beyond words. I highly recommend her home in Tucson and hope to come back again and again. I love being so close to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area. Every morning, I go for my morning run in the Canyon. It is a lovely area for running, hiking and just strolling along taking in all the beauty. It is quiet and peaceful.. It feels like I have a huge park that goes for miles and miles. I like coming back to this beautiful home to enjoy my breakfast out on the patio. It is so comfortable, so cozy. I often go to different areas around Tucson, everything is so easily accessible. In the evenings there is always live music somewhere. All in all, this home is perfect, the location is the best and I have enjoyed every minute living here. The furnishings and decor are lovely, the beds are super comfortable, the linens are excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. I could not of asked for anything more, except more time to be here. Thank you so much, Rita Jann, for creating another great place to come to and enjoy. You have a magical talent for creating beauty where ever you go and I am thrilled to have this home on my list as one of my all time favorite places. I look forward to coming back"

  • Sail into Bisbee with SunCountry

"This awesome little place I describe as like living aboard a sailboat. Perfect size for two people. Low ceilings, comfy bed, little kitchenette, compact efficient bathroom (toilet and shower in one little closet). You can walk to everything, including an awesome High Desert Market for yummy supplies and breakfast down the street, pizza and the best margaritas around at the Screaming Banshee across from it. Walking the Bisbee 1000 race course is a perfect way to see much of the local art and architecture and get some exercise. Highly recommended for a couple wanting a one-two night getaway. Thank you Sarah and Dave for everything. Sorry about the key thing!!!!!"

  • Great January

"This was our first experience with a longer-term home rental and it was fantastic! We enjoyed the month of January 2016, even with record-breaking snow on one day. This Saddlebrooke home is gorgeous with an amazing mountain view to greet you every morning. The home is well stocked with essential items (cookware, laundry, linens, outdoor grill, etc.) to make your stay not only pleasant but easy. The owners were thoughtful and available. We enjoyed the amenities of a fitness center, exercise classes, library, interesting speakers and restaurants at the Saddlebrooke club, which is within walking distance. The location is great to enjoy outings in the Tucson area, from Biosphere 2 and the Oracle Patio Cafe to the Desert Museum, Jazz Festival and hiking in Catalina State Park (only a few miles away). Access to shopping is also very close to the house. It was very peaceful to hang around the house or to get away and enjoy all that the area has to offer. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to enjoy Tucson and Saddlebrooke."
