"I looked at this property to rent for the month of March 2017 and actually signed a contract but for personal reasons was not able to follow through and had to cancel. Julia was very aggreable to refund me the part of the deposit that she owed me, according to her contract. The home is very pleasant and the community is quiet and well kept. The pool area has been refurbished within the last couple of years and everyone is very friendly and pleasant. Julia was very helpful and understanding of my situation."

  • Location, location, location!

"Just two miles from the Saguaro National Park in a quiet desert area, this has to be the best place for a Tucson vacation. John and Steffi know the area well; it is almost like having your own tour guide. Breakfast is a gourmet being of your day. We stayed in the guest house, which was comfortable and quaint. A refrigerator and cooking utensils are provided. We only made ourselves tea at night because, after all, I was on vacation. A hotplate is also provided, but I don't think that you would want to do anything fancy or complicated on it. We are thinking about meeting family here to let our granddaughter swim, hike, horseback ride and visit the Desert Museum."

  • Pamper yourselves and enjoy the views!!!

"This property is absolutely beautiful with it's view of the surrounding mountains and gorgeous Tucson flora and fauna. You can watch the fabulous sunset and sunrise from the decks and observe storms rolling into the area and appreciate the monsoon season with it's wild abandon from a safe distance. The house itself is incredible with it's open spaces, high ceilings and Sonoran scenic wall tiles strategically placed around the property and inside the house. The tile floors help keep the house cool, along with the 3 giant air conditioners! Room for everyone with an upstairs suite with a walk-in closet, boasting a beautiful fireplace, and full master bathroom with shower and tub and double vanities and sinks. The deck off the upstairs master bedroom boasts a stunning view. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs which are quite large, one located off the back deck so you can walk out the French doors and go for a swim in the fenced pool or lounge in comfort on the deck. One of the other bedrooms downstairs has a full bathroom directly off it which has a tub and shower with double sinks. There is another bathroom on the opposite side of the house with a walk-in shower by the other 2 bedrooms. This kitchen is large and spacious with tons of storage with a large center island. The dining area can accommodate a crowd and is very pleasant. This house has panoramic windows throughout, but one of the best views is from the living area with its tall ceilings. The three car garage is attached and quite roomy. Interestingly, you can walk out into the garage during the daytime and it seems very bright due to the large skylights inset in the ceilings! The property boasts a detached casita that has 2 bedrooms and has all the comforts of home with full size refrigerator, stove/oven and plenty of room. It also is close to the pool which is a sight to behold in and of itself! This property also has an RV pad with full hook ups so you can invite your friends or bring your RV and travel from this wonderful property to surrounding attractions! Close to grocery stores and shopping, but feels very rural. It truly is in an amazing area east of Tucson and we enjoyed seeing javelina walking through the back of the property and other wildlife. The owner is a gem and is very accommodating and willing to help out with any questions or concerns."

  • Great place

"If you are looking for a place in the heart of Tucson, look no further. Located on a quiet two block long street it is ideally situated to explore Tucson's revitalized downtown. The house has everything you could need to self cater, with a full service market just a 10 minute walk away. On the other hand it is close to all kinds of restaurants, bars, clubs, theatres and galleries. If you are exploring outside the city it is just a few blocks from all major highways. The check in was seamless, and host Adam was attentive without being intrusive. If we return to Tucson this will be our choice of accommodation."
