  • This was the perfect place for our family gathering

"We stayed at Casa Amapola during the graduation week for University of Arizona. We needed a place where we could totally relax. We wanted comfortable indoor/outdoor living with spectacular mountain views - a quintessential Tucson desert experience. We found all that and more. Mark is a fantastic host and made us feel like the house was truly ours for the week. We highly recommend this beautiful desert retreat."

  • Lovely condo, conveniently located

"This was a very comfortable condo, convenient to many areas in Tucson. A high scale mall is within walking distance. We found several good restaurants there. The view from the patio/balcony was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed having meals outside with the mountain view. Many birds added their music for a peaceful morning or evening. The unit itself had everything we needed for our month's stay. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The table in the eating area was large enough to accommodate company. Furnishings were very nice and the unit was well decorated. The complex was well maintained, and had a nice pool and hot tub. A small exercise room was also available in the complex. The unit is accessed by outside stairs. Something to consider if you have ambulation issues. The owner was very helpful and available whenever needed to answer questions. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this condo to others."

  • Nicely appointed and comfortable condo

"This property is nicely situated on a quiet street near a pool and by the hiking trails. It is comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with utensils and cookware. We did not use the outdoor BBQ. The 2nd key, pool pass were not in the condo. The bedroom tv was not connected to the cable and I was unable to attach it. We were able to install a new modem so we had wifi. The condo served our needs as we were there to exhibit on trade shows and had minimal downtime to enjoy the amenities."

  • Lovely, relaxing vacation

"Everything noted by earlier reviewers is true! This is a lovely home in a magical setting. It’s decorated wonderfully, and fully equipped. The kitchen is the best equipped that we’ve ever found in a VRBO. The location is perfect - away from congestion, but close enough to get places. It’s a reasonable drive to downtown Tucson, or to the Sonora Desert Museum, for example. Quarry Pines golf course nearby is recommended for golfers. We enjoyed a great vacation here: wine on the deck at sunset; coffee in the morning at sunrise; a few dinners out; a lot of local sightseeing; and much, much relaxation."
