  • I was very pleased with both the house and its location.

"Mary does a great job in her description of the property. I booked the house for a three week stay. Upon arrival I found the house was appointed with all the necessary items one would need for a short or extended stay. Mary, the owner, is verry approachable and quick to respond to any questions you may have. I would not hesitate to book another stay the next time I am in Tucson."

  • Perfect desert retreat

"We were looking for something quiet near Saguaro Park East, where we could relax and cook and enjoy the desert. This guest house was perfect - it just "worked". Everything we needed was there - a complete kitchen, relaxing couches, a huge number of closets and storage space, a comfortable bed - spotless and in perfect shape. There's also cable if you want it. Micole lives on the same property and was born to be a host. He touched base several times to be sure we had what we needed. He brought over some fresh grapefruit from his tree. A light bulb burned out while we were there and Micole was over ASAP to deal with it. We're already planning out next visit."

  • Perfect fit for family of six

"I chose this rental because of its perfect design for an extended family of 6; our son, wife and two grand daughters (3 & 7). It has a large center living room and spacious remodeled kitchen, both bedrooms & baths are located on either side of the living room and that provides for a very nice and private layout. My son and wife wanted this Casita because their bedroom had two beds in it, much better when traveling with small children than trying to get them to stay in their own room in a new place. We came in Mid-June for a 3 day event at the JW Marriott, a short 2 min. drive away. The kids played daily in the olympic size pool and made lots of new friends. Being from Hawaii the children and my daughter in law have never seen many animals like squirrels, coyotes, Calif. Quail although we do have pigs in Hawaii that are similar to their cousins the Arizona Javelina's. We got to see all of these beautiful animals right outside the back sliding glass door, it was a wonderful experience for the girls. The kitchen in this rental is better stocked than ours at home, complete with bakeware, tupperware, lots of dishes and lovely glasses. We ate all meals in for the week that we were there and even had two friends that live in Tucson over for a bar-b-que on the last night. The floors throughout the units and patio have all been recently remodeled with lovely new terra-cotta tile and Arizona flagstone, yet again another reason for choosing this one over some of the others with white carpet... The bathroom was large enough to have a party in and the A/C keep us comfortable day and night. Debbie the owner was very easy to deal with and made our stay seamless. Here's to hopping that they have the event at Starr Pass JW Marriott again next year because we would love to come back and stay again. Thanks Debbie for allowing us to stay in your "Starr Pass Casita" it is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the desert."

  • Comfortable & Convenient

"We were a family of 6 coming to Tucson to celebrate our U of A grad. The house is, as advertised, conveniently located to U of A - about 15 mins. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the beautiful view from the large picture window in the family room, especially the wildlife that came to visit. In the afternoons we were visited by a family of coyotes passing through (not a problem - in fact, kind of fun), hummingbirds, rabbits and lizards. We did not have a chance to meet Nancy & Fe, but they were wonderful hosts, as we had everything we needed."
