"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well-equipped (except for sofa in need of spring/cushion renewal)."

  • Mountain Retreat

"Casa Indigo is a great place to go end enjoy the Desert. The nighttime view of the city is phenomenal! During the daytime you can enjoy all the wildlife of the Desert including Deer, Javelina, Hummingbirds (there are three feeders outside on the front porch), and Woodpeckers. The house is well equipped and there are nearby Grocery stores which make it convenient to cook at home and enjoy a star filled sky. Downtown is only ten minutes away which makes it convenient to do business during the day and then escape to the quiet Mountains in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning again soon!"

  • Location, location, location!

"Just two miles from the Saguaro National Park in a quiet desert area, this has to be the best place for a Tucson vacation. John and Steffi know the area well; it is almost like having your own tour guide. Breakfast is a gourmet being of your day. We stayed in the guest house, which was comfortable and quaint. A refrigerator and cooking utensils are provided. We only made ourselves tea at night because, after all, I was on vacation. A hotplate is also provided, but I don't think that you would want to do anything fancy or complicated on it. We are thinking about meeting family here to let our granddaughter swim, hike, horseback ride and visit the Desert Museum."

  • Awesome, tranquil, picturesque retreat

"The property owner is wonderful and did everything possible to make us feel at home and comfortable. She was available and quick to assist us with all our needs. The grounds were well beyond our expectations. We stayed for a month in the Cowgirl Room on the second floor. We shared a new kitchen with another tenant with no problems and had full access to outdoor property. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped yards , patios with lovely furniture, fire pit and barbeque. Everything inside and outside the house was exceptionally well kept up with very high quality furnishings. From the deck on the second level we enjoyed watching sunrise and sunsets. It was a peaceful, relaxing, cool retreat and we would recommend The Ranchita to all. It has a true Tucson feel. We also took advantage of the central location for restaurants, golf, hiking and shopping."
