  • Springtime in the southwest

"We found the perfect getaway spot in Tucson! Last March we loaded up the car and took a driving trip to Tucson from Denver. Since we were going for a month we also took the dog along. A large private back yard perfect for our pet and cocktails at sunset! Large spacious rooms with lots of southwest charm and character. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities when we wanted to stay in for the evening. So much to see and do with Sabino Canyon so close to the rental."

  • Tranquil, lovely retreat spot

"I was very impressed by this unit. The owner has stocked it so well with all the little things one might need. The decor is quite lovely, and the views from the porch and bedrooms are fabulous. The only advice for the owner is to not use the room deodorizers. There were 6 of them spaced around a relatively small two bedroom condo and it smelled very strongly of fake deodorizer smell. No problem, I went around and got the all and put them in a bag in the laundry closet. But I'd advise others to request they aren't used. There was no need for them, no bad smell they were hiding. Dealing with the owner or manager, Felipe, was very pleasant and he was prompt to answer any questions I had. Again, the attention to detail was very thoughtful: salt and pepper shakers, bottled water, new sponges, etc. I felt very taken care of in this safe, lovely condo."

  • Great Location! Highly Recommend!

"This home was in a great location and very close to anything we needed. The home was just the right size for two to four people and fit our needs perfectly. It was tucked away in a very quite residential area of town and within a few minutes to almost anything we needed or wanted to do. Taylor and Yuko were most helpful and replied to any question we had within minutes. I cannot say enough about how they made our stay in Tucson as perfect as it could possible be. If your looking for a quite rental home and want to be close to the downtown area of Tucson I could not recommend a better place. Richard & Bobby Smith"

  • The Perfect Place for Us

"My wife and I spent 2 weeks in January at La Casita, Jim and Karen's place in the Saguaro Mountain foothills.  It was the perfect place for us.  The casita was spacious, comfortable and quiet -- much larger in real life than in the pictures on VRBO. The living room has big cushy chairs and blankets to cozy up in, a big-screen TV for those interested, and lots of earthy Southwestern charm. It's located in the foothills of the Saguaro National Park West just minutes from some fabulous trailheads.  One of our favorites was the Sweetwater Trail only 5 minutes away (other favorites further afield included the Hugh Norris Trail, the Douglas Spring Trail and the Phoneline Trail).  Karen and Jim live next door and were extremely warm and helpful with anything we needed. Karen even lent my wife a pair of her new hiking boots so my wife could try them out. It was unusually cold when we were there or we would have eaten more breakfasts and some dinners outside on the back sitting area looking at Karen's beautiful desert garden and mountains in the distance. The way the casita is oriented you can catch sunrise out back and sunset out front. We were able to use Karen and Jim's hot tub when we wanted, watching the clear stars overhead, and their small pool is also available. The trade-off with being in such a beautiful setting is that restaurants and food shopping are between 10 and 20 minutes away, but it was always so nice coming "home" at the end of the day."
