  • Snow Bird Retreat

"The property is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. It is immaculate and well equipped with linens and cooking equipment. We had guests come for a few weeks of our 10 week stay, and the spacious layout offers both private and together times. We enjoyed dining and relaxing on the patio and having easy access to activities we enjoyed. We did pay the extra fee to be eligible for the GV Recreational offerings and appreciated the pools, exercise rooms, and social and learning options open to us. We were welcomed at the church we attended, and could have been even more active there. With our friends and family we enjoyed the hiking, historical sites, and shopping in Tubac and Tucson. The owners were graciously helpful in quickly addressing some relatively minor issues with Cox Network. I have recommended this property to friends and would enjoy staying there again, also."

  • So Relaxing

"We spent two nights in the Cowboy Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable, very cozy. It had all of the kitchen and bath furnishings we needed. After three nights of camping, it was fantastic to just bake a frozen pizza! I really appreciated that the porch had plenty of hummingbird feeders and looked out onto woodland. Lots of other birds stopped by. It felt very secluded, and was very quiet. The Hummingbird Cabin is a nice distance away and there are plenty of trees so you can barely even see it. Always deer and turkeys in the yard, and peacocks calling. We pushed the twin beds together to make a king. It was very comfortable. It was unexpectedly nice to be in bed and still watch the TV that's in the "living room" (sleeping area and living room/dining room are all one large room). There's lots of seating, inside and out. Harry and Judy were out of town, so we worked with their son Randy, who was super nice and very helpful. The cabins are in Ramsey Canyon, so it's a great base camp for visiting other birding hot spots in the area. We visited Carr, Ash, and Miller Canyons all with very little travel time between them and our home away from home. Not far from the San Pedro House, either. One thing to note is that people with mobility issues should realize there are several steps in the bathroom area. You have to use them to reach the toilet and shower. Also to enter the cabin by the porch. Not a negative, just something to be aware of. Anyway, a great stay and I already want to come back again!"

  • Wonderful rental!

"We had a fantastic time at this house. It was beautifully furnished. Kip was on top of everything and the entire rental experience was smooth as silk. The house was stocked well. Easy to cook and entertain in. It does have beautiful views and a lovely patio area. It was especially nice that Kip accepted a pet so I could bring my dog. Great location since my relatives lived a short distance away. I would be happy to rent this house again in a heartbeat."

  • Beautiful

"Everything went off without a hitch. The house was just beautiful. We loved the pool table and the hot tub. We had a family gathering of about 12 people and the house was more than large enough. We could have tripled that amount of guests! I would recommend anyone going to Tucson to consider this home. The location could not have been better for views and getting around! Thank you Preban and Nicole for letting us stay in your beautiful home!"
