  • Elegant Casita for the win

"Two week stay for a couple of midwestern gals visiting local friends, hiking and sight seeing. This modern adobe casita is immaculate, and nicely designed to take advantage of the beautiful, surrounding desert landscape. French doors open to the patio where flowers abound and meals can be shared at the shaded table. Inside: living/dining space with fireplace, contemporary kitchen, two bedrooms and marble bath. Every convenience is provided including Sferra bed linens and KitchenAid cookware. Fifteen minutes from U of A campus, twenty minutes from historic center of Tucson to the west or Sabino Canyon hiking to the east. Hosts are most gracious and helpful. We will return. Anne B. • Chancero House

"Enjoyed our stay there. Everything was as nice or nicer than the pictures showed. Loved the open area behind the house! Great location for doing things around Green Valley. We would recommend it to friends."

  • beautiful home, wonderful place to stay, highly recommend

"We stayed at this location for a week and had a fabulous experience. I have one complaint which is when we arrived, there was no soap at any sink, so no way to wash your hands; no laundry detergent, and this was mostly an issue because it was requested that we wash all sheets and towels before we left on the last day; and no toilet paper, which I don't need to explain. These are things you don't usually pack in your suitcase to go on vacation. The first thing we had to do was go shopping to get supplies. Those things are not a deal breaker and I would highly recommend this property, but they were inconveniences we hadn't expected. I did not mind doing three loads of laundry on the day we left, but again, I hadn't planned on it, but I understand why we were asked to do so. The owner was pleasant to work with and we would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose. I would have given 5 stars, but for the inconvenience of having to shop for and buy supplies. Otherwise, it is a 5-star property."

  • Great stay in a safe neighborhood.

"Comfy sleeping arrangements w a good kitchen. Cable with HBO was a great perk as well. The lounging furniture could have been better but it worked well for our needs. Mike was a great guy and left you alone as he lived just next door."
