  • Living in a Wonderland

"The most fascinating place we've ever stayed. Never a dull moment, the multitude of birds and wildlife kept us entertained daily. I added over 30 new species to my life list, and they were up close and personal. No scanning the treetops with binoculars. They came right to the feeders within feet of the windows and screened porches. The acorn woodpeckers are like cartoon birds, and the hummingbirds were so numerous, we often had 8 or 9 at one feeder. We saw kit foxes and had visits from a coati and collared peccaries. Too many new critters to enumerate here. The house suited us admirably. Bright, clean and simple. Easy to care for and very comfortable. We loved the screened porches, with the 270 degree vistas and wildlife. Flux Canyon is a great place to walk and hike, and only a couple miles to Patagonia for groceries, library, galleries, etc. 18 miles from the border, and Nogales, it's easy to visit Mexico. And of course, it is in the heart of the sky islands, surrounded by other mountain ranges, all fascinating. I guess I can't say enough about what a find this place was and how lucky for us that we were able to rent it for the month of February. I tell folks it was like living in the middle of an aviary."

  • Very nice place, strongly recommended.

"This is an old house thoroughly renovated with historic decor, it has all mod cons with a feeling of Bisbee history. Nice neighborhood as ever in Bisbee. Downtown is about a 20 min walk away, giving you an opportunity to get some exercise and a feel for the place. Customer service from the owners was perfect - check in is easy and hassle free with a lock box, they left gift cards for local businesses, and did not put pressure on us with check out times or anything like that."

  • Sail into Bisbee with SunCountry

"This awesome little place I describe as like living aboard a sailboat. Perfect size for two people. Low ceilings, comfy bed, little kitchenette, compact efficient bathroom (toilet and shower in one little closet). You can walk to everything, including an awesome High Desert Market for yummy supplies and breakfast down the street, pizza and the best margaritas around at the Screaming Banshee across from it. Walking the Bisbee 1000 race course is a perfect way to see much of the local art and architecture and get some exercise. Highly recommended for a couple wanting a one-two night getaway. Thank you Sarah and Dave for everything. Sorry about the key thing!!!!!"
