  • Excellent

"The casita is large, clean, well stocked and furnished perfectly. Lori was very easy to work with and to the other reviewer who complained about the internet and hot water he/she mustn't have stayed at the same place as we did! We have been coming to Green Valley for six years and this is the best place we have stayed at. We will stay at Lori's casita again next year. Terry and Linda Hillsboro WI"

  • Warm and inviting "home away from home"!

"We were so pleased as soon as we opened the door; this beautifully decorated home was more than we expected. We felt so at home as everything we could possibly need was right at our fingertips. So comfortable not only inside, but also in the back and front yards where we enjoyed the landscape and the views. This home has easy access to clubhouse, amenities, and exit to main road. Sue and Greg were gracious - "Thank you"! We would highly recommend this as your "home away from home". S & C"

  • This is the best rental in Bisbee

"My husband, two dogs and I have been here several times over the years and always love it. I have also stayed here alone with the dogs to get some writing done, and felt perfectly safe and comfortable. The owners have installed a new bathroom! The new shower is awesome, lots of hot water and great water pressure. (This is not always true at other Bisbee rentals.) This trip, we brought our grown daughter with us, who can be a little picky. She loved it too! She really appreciated the cozy, soft bedding. This lovely little house is the absolute best rental we have found in Bisbee. This house is spacious, spotlessly clean, accepts pets, is stocked with movies and books and is connected to Wi-Fi. Besides thick new towels and colorful sheets, there are numerous potholders, kitchen towels and other linens. (If you have rented much at all, you know how rare this is.) The kitchen deserves its own separate review. Every kitchen gadget and appliance you could possibly need has been provided. We have rented places before and made unhappy discoveries such as no coffee pot, no knives, one dented pan. Not so the Toland Adobe! There is a full set of cookware plus baking pans, a bread maker, potato peeler, and chef's knives. The yard is also spacious. Our dogs haven't found a way out in spite of searching. They are perfectly happy and safe alone in the yard and we don't have to watch them constantly. The yard is complete with pine trees and a Tombstone Rose bush, a large table with chairs enclosed behind a high fence. Complete privacy. Lovely place to stay."

  • Our own private resort!

"Our family of seven spent a week here for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. It was the perfect choice! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Every morning my sister and I walked through the area and enjoyed the abundant wildlife and gorgeous homes. The road is for residential access so there was very little traffic or noise. Each morning we had breakfast on the patio area next to the pool. It was like being at our own resort! The home is made from gorgeous adobe blocks and has such character. The decor and original artwork made it fell exotic and homey at the same time. We used the pool every day - even my mother lounged on a pool float and soaked in the sun! Although the home is on a secluded road it is convenient to drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and malls within minutes. My husband and I lived in Tucson for almost 20 years and know how rare it is to find a home on a large piece of property that offers privacy but also convenience. The three bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The weather reached nearly 100 degrees that week but the home stayed cool most of the day with only a few hours of cooler use. We opened the windows at night and it smelled glorious! Bonnie was a gracious and communicative hostess. I typically am wary of any type of internet bookings but she provided all the information I needed to contact her and called both before and after our trip to ensure we were happy. Future trips to Tucson will definitely be planned around Hacienda Vista Lejos' avaialblity."
