  • Great House for a Family Vacation!

"Our family of 12 recently spent a week at this lovely home. We enjoyed the home and all of it's amenities. The kids (ages 5 -7) especially enjoyed having a bonfire and roasting marshmallows. The layout of the house is great as each of the families were able to have their own bedroom and bath. The house was very clean and everything is very well thought out for a carefree vacation. Even all the cabinet and drawers in the kitchen are labelled with their contents! If we ever decide to go back to Hot Springs we would definitely stay here again."

  • Great location...beautiful views

"A great hideaway that is close to everything...the last mile of the road is uphill gravel...not the best for motorcycles but we managed."

  • Mother & Daughters Trip...

"im so glad that I chose this property. very relaxing, fully functional. when bridget said "all you need is food", she was right. The property was in great shape, well maintained, as well as the 300 acres. there is a grocery not to far away from the property, but everything was there. Laundry Det, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, towels for kids/pets for the creek, linens,.. we felt so at home and so comfortable here. It was great. Been going through some personal issues, and this was a trip that just my teenage daughters and I took and it was EXACTLY what we (I) needed. there is a little fishing hole on the property with catfish and bass, there is also a creek that zig zags through the property, which was beautiful. the water was crystal clear. there is also a private swimming hole on the property, that is beautiful and crystal clear. I believe this is the Caddo River, so you will see people tubing and canoeing/kayaking. you can rent canoes or tubes just up or down ?? the road, less than a couple miles. Bridgette & Marty were very accommodating and helpful. There is some historical history relating to the property, regarding Indians. If you are looking for a quite, peaceful, relaxing get a away,. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. there are at least 4-5 trails on the property to walk and explore. Hot Springs is about 25 mins away, the Diamond Mine in Murfreesboro is also about 20 mins away. We will be coming back. The view from the living room was very nice. and the STARS are BEAUTIFUL at night. everynight I would take the lawn chair and put in in the middle of the driveway or on the grass and just lay out there for a couple hours! Very relaxing, very comfortable.. Exactly what I needed to clear my head, and re-group! CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK.. IF I WAS CLOSER, I WOULD BE THERE EVERY WEEKEND! I tried to find a job while I was down there! lol.. also have some great flea markets. it is a DRY COUNTY."

  • Excellent Place for a College Visit

"Stayed here last weekend and we were visiting for parent's weekend for our son at U of A. Was an excellent visit and the cottage was wonderful. It is very quiet with plenty of space outside but also very convenient and close to I49 and shopping 2-3 minutes away. Loved the amenities and feel of the house - great front porch with swing, excellent kitchen, nice o/s patios, comfie beds, etc... ! Was a very nice place to stay and visit and still be close to the action, highly recommend!"
