"im so glad that I chose this property. very relaxing, fully functional. when bridget said "all you need is food", she was right. The property was in great shape, well maintained, as well as the 300 acres. there is a grocery not to far away from the property, but everything was there. Laundry Det, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, towels for kids/pets for the creek, linens,.. we felt so at home and so comfortable here. It was great. Been going through some personal issues, and this was a trip that just my teenage daughters and I took and it was EXACTLY what we (I) needed. there is a little fishing hole on the property with catfish and bass, there is also a creek that zig zags through the property, which was beautiful. the water was crystal clear. there is also a private swimming hole on the property, that is beautiful and crystal clear. I believe this is the Caddo River, so you will see people tubing and canoeing/kayaking. you can rent canoes or tubes just up or down ?? the road, less than a couple miles. Bridgette & Marty were very accommodating and helpful. There is some historical history relating to the property, regarding Indians. If you are looking for a quite, peaceful, relaxing get a away,. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. there are at least 4-5 trails on the property to walk and explore. Hot Springs is about 25 mins away, the Diamond Mine in Murfreesboro is also about 20 mins away. We will be coming back. The view from the living room was very nice. and the STARS are BEAUTIFUL at night. everynight I would take the lawn chair and put in in the middle of the driveway or on the grass and just lay out there for a couple hours! Very relaxing, very comfortable.. Exactly what I needed to clear my head, and re-group! CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK.. IF I WAS CLOSER, I WOULD BE THERE EVERY WEEKEND! I tried to find a job while I was down there! lol.. also have some great flea markets. it is a DRY COUNTY."
