  • Perfectly Serene and charming!

"First visit to Arkansas. Cottages were so eye appealing and well kept! We stayed in Storybrook and loved the warm, country feel and the relaxed environment! Exactly what we were looking for during winter break! Would like to see in all seasons ;)"

  • Eloquent

"Very clean and friendly. The guesthouse was much like a home away from home. Very nicely decorated and elegantly furnished. The bed had a very comfortable mattress and slept wonderfully. The Vaccas were fantastic hosts and do a very good spread, served as courses for breakfast. Highly recommended."

  • Large, comfortable room

"The room was very large and comfortable. There was plenty of room to relax without having to be in bed. The TV was large and had very good reception. We watched a football game that night. My major complaint would be that the heat in our room (I forget the name, but I believe it was a converted double garage) was too good! We called and were told we could access the thermostat in the downstairs hall which we did, but the temperature never went down sufficiently. I'm extremely warm-natured so I had trouble sleeping. Also, you need to think about privacy. We discovered that our bathroom (across a small area from our room and directly behind the kitchen) did not actually lock. Therefore, anyone else in the house could have mistakenly come through the curtain and opened the bathroom door. In our case, we never saw the other guests in the house, but that might not always be the case. We also could not lock the door to our room when we left. It is nice to be trusting, but not everyone can be trusted! We were the last to leave Monday morning, and we found that the people who left before us had left the front door unlocked. I feel that your are leaving your guests and yourself very vulnerable to dishonest people."
