  • Lovely house. Great Lake access!

"Loved the quiet area and the house. House is super cute and has a fair amount of supplies to stay for awhile and is spacious and decorated very nice with good quality furniture, linens and supplies. Has one window unit Ac which worked ok for us since it wasn't very hot when we stayed but with more people and hotter temps would not have been good. I hate to be negative because I really like the house and lakefront property but a few things could be improved on to make this a five star vacation rental. I guess the only two things that would really make the house great is more Ac and curtains on the bedroom windows. I'm not a morning person and having good blackout curtains instead of bamboo shades would be really helpful to a good nights sleep. The beds and linens were great though and the entire house was super clean. I'm not sure at $200.00 a night I should have had to wash, dry, fold and put away the towels as they were originally were or washed, dried and put away all dishes either. I certainly dont mind cleaning up after myself but sorta missed a dishwasher. A fireplace, fire pit, hot tub, dishwasher would make this rental over the top! Perhaps it's best left this way, or it would never be available and so much more expensive. All in all a great property. Oh, make sure you fill out the contract at home and have fax or scan capability. It was 18 pages long and since I was traveling it cost me $26.00 bucks to print and fax back to them before I could get accepted and get access code. Not everyone plans in advance. I spent a year on the road traveling last minute from here to there and it was a hassle getting all that paperwork sent in when it really could be condensed into 2 or 3 pages at most. The $150.00 pet fee was sorts high also I thought. You could tell someone's dog in the sunroom had had many accidents. I kept the door shut because I was worried that my dog would be attracted to the stains on the carpet. I'm not sure what they were but I think pet stains. It didn't smell to me but obviously did to my dog."

  • Holiday Island Townhome

"Had an awesome long weekend! Condo is perfect for 3 couples or family. Very nice and clean. We took our 9 mo grandson and owner was so nice to provide a highchair, pac n play and toys for him. It was so awesome that we did not have to tote those items with us. Condo is nice and homey and has everything you need to make you stay enjoyable. This was our 2nd time staying in the property and will rent it again. Highly recommend!"

  • Nice place to stay

"The house was very clean and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Plenty of room for us to play games around the dinning room table or sit out on the back deck together. Overall a nice place to stay for the money."

  • Perfect honeymoon cottage

"We spent a week here in September for our honeymoon. The cottage was PERFECT for the two of us. Views of the lake from the deck were amazing. We brought our boat and while it was a bit challenging to get it in and out of the driveway, the public boat launch was right across the lake. Table Rock lake is one of the best lakes we've been on. The water was amazingly calm with so many places to explore. (Our lake map was our most cherished possession for the week as the lake twists and turns everywhere). After a day of boating we spent most every evening just relaxing on the deck and taking in the view. The only down side was in September, (off season) some places aren't open. There are only 3 restaurants that we could find under 30m away. The cottage does come with a charcoal grill but we were too lazy to cook :) All in all this cottage was every bit what we imagined for our romantic week."
