  • Excelent Bike Ride

"We traveled from San Antonio to Eureka Springs to ride the Ozarks in our motorcycles and we stayed at the Gaslight home. The accommodations were great with privacy for each one in their own bedroom. Walking distance to the downtown area restaurants and bars Plenty of parking for our bikes inside the property. Will be back soon!"

  • Lovely house. Great Lake access!

"Loved the quiet area and the house. House is super cute and has a fair amount of supplies to stay for awhile and is spacious and decorated very nice with good quality furniture, linens and supplies. Has one window unit Ac which worked ok for us since it wasn't very hot when we stayed but with more people and hotter temps would not have been good. I hate to be negative because I really like the house and lakefront property but a few things could be improved on to make this a five star vacation rental. I guess the only two things that would really make the house great is more Ac and curtains on the bedroom windows. I'm not a morning person and having good blackout curtains instead of bamboo shades would be really helpful to a good nights sleep. The beds and linens were great though and the entire house was super clean. I'm not sure at $200.00 a night I should have had to wash, dry, fold and put away the towels as they were originally were or washed, dried and put away all dishes either. I certainly dont mind cleaning up after myself but sorta missed a dishwasher. A fireplace, fire pit, hot tub, dishwasher would make this rental over the top! Perhaps it's best left this way, or it would never be available and so much more expensive. All in all a great property. Oh, make sure you fill out the contract at home and have fax or scan capability. It was 18 pages long and since I was traveling it cost me $26.00 bucks to print and fax back to them before I could get accepted and get access code. Not everyone plans in advance. I spent a year on the road traveling last minute from here to there and it was a hassle getting all that paperwork sent in when it really could be condensed into 2 or 3 pages at most. The $150.00 pet fee was sorts high also I thought. You could tell someone's dog in the sunroom had had many accidents. I kept the door shut because I was worried that my dog would be attracted to the stains on the carpet. I'm not sure what they were but I think pet stains. It didn't smell to me but obviously did to my dog."

  • Bikerboy

"The cabin and lake are great, but what we really liked was Crystal Bridges and Eureka Springs. 15 miles west is one of the best art museums in the country and 15 miles east is the coolest little town I've ever seen. All set in the beautiful Ozarks. Awesome!!!"
