  • Thanksgiving at Paradise on The Little Red River

"We enjoyed our Thanksgiving fly fishing trip at our favorite cabin in Heber Springs! We are so grateful to have found such a comfortable and relaxing cabin. We have stayed at this cabin six years in a row. The property is well maintained and has great views of the river. We love all the windows, porches and fireplace. The fishing was awesome. Thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise with us. See you next year!"

  • Ultimate in comfort and seclusion, perfect for large or multi family vacations.

"This property is everything described and more. The house itself is is great shape, and furnished very comfortably. We had plenty of room, and would occasionally "lose" the teens because it's so big...but we'd always find them downstairs listening to music and playing pool. The location is the most secluded that we've rented on Beaver, or any other lake for that matter. You cannot see (or be seen) by any other house, so you really feel like you have the lake all to yourself. The gated access was extra nice, as it added a sense of security while we were on the lake all day each day. The walk down to the lake is short, but steep as described in other reviews. However their is a private paved road that will take you down to the waters edge...and right up to the dock at normal lake levels, so there is no need to tote gear up and down the hill. At the dock there was a large group of brim swimming around the entire time we were there, the kids had a blast feeding them each day. The boat slip was available for our boat and was a breeze to get in and out of (19ft open bow). Any electrical issues with the dock mention in other reviews must have been solved, as we had no problems whatsoever. We also so deer constantly milling around the property, as well as a Bald Eagle. The only minor issue (and I hate to even mention it as the house/property really was awesome) is the gas grill has seen better days. If your planning on cooking out a lot (we did) you might want to bring your own. It'll get you by, but the burners are rusted and damaged so an even flame is impossible. If your here looking for a house to rent then you probably already know how awesome Beaver Lake is (shhh, don't tell every, it's kind of a hidden secret), and this is by far the nicest home we've rented on the lake to date. I'll admit that even though we've rented many times through VRBO, this is the first home we've rented that was overseen by a rental company, and I was a bit hesitant. Don't be...the folks at BLVR we're very accommodating, the check in procedures were a breeze, they were always helpful with my questions leading up to the vacation, and the check out requests we're clear and very reasonable. We will be back, and would recommend this place, as well as doing business with Beaver Lake Vacation Rentals."

  • Enjoyed our stay and Mountain Harbor is our favorite place to stay on Lake Ouachita.

"We appreciate booking with Sami. Really nice and helpful. The condo we stayed in - Mango Serenity - is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The balcony in the back is nice and relaxing. There are 3 couches with seating for 8, a propane grill, 3 beds and 2 of the couches are sofa beds which was great for our kids and grandkids. It was a rainy weekend but we enjoyed 1 nice swim at the pool next to Turtle Cove Spa which was within walking distance. We saw many deer on our walk which the grandkids enjoyed. The lake is walking distance and marina right down the road. We already loved Mountain Harbor and have been there before and can't wait to get back. Book with Sami and you won't have any problems."

  • Renewed, relaxed and refreshed

"We were travelling in a large group that included dogs and an eight month old. The lakehouse was a life/relationship preserver. The house is "V" shaped, with the bedrooms on one leg and living areas on the other. The baby slept soundly in the last bedroom while we cooked then played games in the dining room. Everyone was very happy."
