  • Awesome experience

"The staff at the office were extremely helpful and polite. James was a neighbor to the house we stayed in and he was great also. He offered lake information that was very useful. My family and I were very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you so much"

  • Beautiful retreat in the woods

"We stayed at Deepwood for a women's weekend getaway and it was perfect! We are from Fayetteville, so it offered seclusion in the woods while still being about 20 minutes away from home (and 10 from the grocery!). The caretaker, Neil, could not have been more hospitable. He chopped firewood for the fireplace, offered to help carry bags in, and located a box of rice when one of us dropped a cell phone in the water. Talk about full-service! The house has lots of history and charm and is located directly across from a Mt. Kessler trailhead that offered amazing views. We could not have been happier with our stay and plan to return in the future for some more R&R!"

  • 1-10 we give it a ten.

"Property is located deep in the ozark mountains low in a valley with nothing around but nature and a quite running river to sooth your soul. It has the warmth and charm of the country the way it should be experienced. If you want to see the stars like never before and hear the coyotes and wolves as never before then this is the place for you. Secluded and perfect for the family or just a couple who want to escape life for a while. Wade and Bethany who own the place will always be close by yo accomidate your ever need. Set outside next to a campfire or just cuddle in the cabin next to the fire. You will be serinaded to sleep each night with the sound of water falls right behind the cabin. We will go back and recommend this place to any and all who want to forget about the world for a spell. This is country and not for those who expect a five star hotel accommodation but for those who enjoy the hiking and exploring adventures of the river and ozark mountains. Check it out and explore your creative self and see what nature has to offer before places like these are gone for good."

  • Awesome. Very much worthwhile

"My wife and I had an awesome time at the wild thing cabin. It was clean, neat and oh so peaceful. The advertisement does it no justice as it was even better than described, thank you Holly."
