  • Beautiful property inside and out

"A beautiful, clean home and guest cottage with fabulous gardens front and back. This vacation home is located on a quiet street that has no through traffic. It is close to the beach and zoo, and minutes away from downtown State Street. My grandchildren had a fun time exploring the garden in the back yard, which was gated and secure. The adults enjoyed the many outside areas to sit and relax and watch the hummingbirds. Inside the house, the kitchen is well stocked, the bed linens and towels are upscale. Great place! Thanks to Roger for making this a hassle-free experience."

  • Great apartment!

"The apartment was as described. Great view of the bay. Nicely decorated. Very comfortable. We loved staying there. Pacific Grove is beautiful, and being across the street from the bay was perfect. It is easily walkable to the Cannery, and the downtown area of Pacific Grove is wonderful! We plan to go back!! Two notes: 1--The convertible sofa is a large double recliner. Very comfortable, but don't expect a sleeper. 2--Traffic on the street below can be pretty loud...especially the garbage truck. Geri was a fabulous host!!"

  • Quiet, well-appointed ranch with ocean view

"My husband and I came in totally fried from Silicon Valley and the Dragonfly Ranch was just what the doctor ordered. It's cozy but with a large open plan kitchen and living room plus loads of patio space and a swim spa. The view of the Pacific is the icing on the cake. We found our gracious host to be very accommodating even though this was a last-minute trip for us. And let's not forget that the ranch in the middle of wine country ;) We hope to return in the future."

  • Beach Glass House is an All-around Winner

"We have rented vacation homes in the Santa Cruz/Aptos areas for nine years. Beach Glass House is--hands down--the best of all our rental experiences. The home is spacious, light, and decorated with very appealing beach decor. The owner is very responsive, and two minor issues were resolved swiftly and completely. The beach is a short walk from the front door (+/- 5 minutes), although there is a bit of a scramble over large rocks to get to the sand. This home is wonderful for the entire family, although it would not work for anyone with serious mobility issues, due to the stairs up to the front door and the interior spiral staircase to the upper and lower floors. That said, we loved it, and our group of 10 included five children from 1-1/2 to 11-1/2 years and 5 adults, including grandparents (us), ages 30s to 70. The owners have thoughtfully provided a variety of beach gear--sand toys, boogie and skim boards, etc. There is also a pool table and a ping pong table. There is a single, large flat-screen TV in the loft, and I actually enjoyed the absence of a TV in the master bedroom and living room! The back yard is very nicely landscaped, and the hot tub was a huge hit. There is a hand-held, warm-water outdoor shower next to it with a flexible hose for rinsing off before enjoying the hot tub and heading indoors. The home's location is also excellent from a convenience standpoint. It is ten minutes or less to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, supermarkets, or the Boardwalk, and equally close to a large number of restaurants. All of these can be accessed via city streets, making it possible to avoid the ever-present traffic snarl on Highway 1. We also enjoyed the upstairs deck, complete with umbrella table, gas barbecue, and outdoor heater. Oh, did I mention that it also boasts a view of the ocean?!! In short, look no farther than Beach Glass House. We returned home yesterday and have already booked for next summer!!!"
