  • Perfect

"Our daughter lives in the area so we have stayed all over the place- Loved our little abode here! Very private, relaxing.... Carmel Valley can be pricey......this property is a great deal for a couple.....bed was small ( a double ) but for a weekend, very nice.....would suggest that you bring a blow dryer for your hair...that was the only thing we needed and was not provided.... Coffee, ( of course! ) fruit, muffins,,,,, Carmel Village ( wine tasting, good restaurants ) is about 5 minutes away; Carmel, maybe 15 minutes? We loved the solitude and quietness ( OK, the turkeys did talk one morning, but who can predict?)"

  • Beautiful property, great location and wonderful host!

"Perfectly located in Carmel Valley, this warm and very nicely decorated home exceeded our expectations. It's a mile and a half from the village, which has 22 wineries and excellent boutique restaurants. It's also 10 minutes to Carmel by the Sea and the beginning of 17 Mile Drive next to Pebble Beach. Inside the property you will find a nicely upgraded suite with everything you need and more. The bathroom is spectacular and even has heated floors which were already on when we arrived. The grounds at this property are gorgeous and your stay includes use of the spa. Jae is an amazing host, and she is there for anything that you need. We enjoyed our stay here very much and highly recommend it."

  • Comfortable and quiet in a beautiful setting

"We really enjoyed the lovely house for a small family reunion/birthday celebration. It is spacious, quiet and comfortable. We are all cooks who appreciated having a well-equipped and functional kitchen. The outdoor spaces are also attractive, pleasant, and very useable. Carmel Valley is a much quieter, low-key option than the Monterey Peninsula. It’s also really pretty! There are restaurants, wine tasting rooms, a swimming pool and park, plus grocery stores, all within walking distance of the house, which is also conveniently located near Laguna Seca Raceway. We will definitely return."

  • Splendid!

"My husband and I spent a most special month in Spring cottage. We loved the surroundings, beautiful garden and vineyard. The house is very comfortable. We loved cooking with wolf range and Thermador oven. Master bathroom is cosy and has a claw foot tub. We lay to the chaise of the garden at night, enjoyed a star-filled sky. We walked about ten minutes from Spring cottage to a famous Bernardus lodge for lunch several times. There are a lot of winery near by and we enjoyed tasting local wine a lot. There are a lot of things to do. Monterey, Carmel-by-the sea and Big Sur is about one hour drive. The owner Nazneen and Neil are so nice, respect our privacy, yet giving us a every help. We are planning to go back to Spring Cottage next summer and I can't wait!"
