  • An Ocean Lover's Paradise

"We have loved every moment of our month at the Stuga. Cayucos has great weather and a beautiful beach, which is only a short block from the Stuga. This area has so many pleasurable options to explore in every direction. We've attended outdoor concerts in San Luis Obispo, visited vineyards in the Paso Robles area, hiked many trails up and down the coast, and enjoyed fabulous meals in local restaurants. Marta's Stuga couldn't be nicer with all the comforts of home including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room furniture and beds, lovely linens, and a great deck where you can see and hear the ocean. She has provided all the entertainment one might need including a great selection of DVDs, games, magazines, and binders filled with local information. She's thought of everything! We will definitely want to come back to this little slice of heaven. We have stayed at many vacation rentals, but this is the best by far. Marta is so friendly and helpful and makes everything so easy and comfortable for her guests."

  • Super spot for exploring central coast

"We rented this house for family to stay for my son's graduation from SLO. Even tho I've been coming down to the area for the past years, this location gave me a chance yo explore the cool beach towns and sites in the area. The house was really comfy. It was amazing to be so close to a small in crowded beach. The town was cute. We loved the smoked fish shop and the cookie store, especially"

  • Beautiful stay in Cayucos

"We had a great stay in Dorothea's condo in "back in time" little town of Cayucos. Thanks to housekeeper Treva, the unit was very clean upon our arrival. Dorothea met us there as she sometimes stays in another part of the condo on weekends. She was so friendly and nice. We all "bonded" right away. We loved her little well-behaved dog Luna also. No problems inside or outside the house, and everything was stocked and functional. There were flowers and welcome gifts upon our arrival. However the best part of the condo is the location right on the ocean as we had a magnificent view whereby we saw seals and sea otters close by and beautiful sunsets almost every night. The weather was so nice and warm that often we picnicked right on the private patio.Great views also from the inside dining room, living room, and bedroom. There are many things to do in the area, such as Moonstone beach in Cambria which has several parks there along a wooden easily accessible Boardwalk, Hearst Castle and nearby seals, Big Sur Hwy one drive north to Ragged Point and onward. We would highly recommend for anyone to stay in this condo. You can't beat the views as they are spectacular. We would go back anytime just to see Dorothea also! She is a jewel! I want to return with my other sister in the future."

  • Pictures Don't Do Justice!

"While we have completely enjoyed our annual family beach trip the last 7 years, nothing prepared us for how much more we would enjoy it staying in this house! The accommodations for 10 was perfect! 5 bathrooms! Whoever heard of such a thing!! The outside shower with hot and cold water worked out perfect for rinsing off after some beach time! Beautiful, comfortable, well thought out home. You will not be disappointed!!"
