  • Perfect for us!

"We were celebrating my husband's birthday and wanted to bring the mutts, since Cayucos is one of their favorite places too! This cozy little beach house was perfect, and it's probably one of the earlier Cayucos cottages, which makes it special. James and Nancy were great with communication, keep the place in top-notch shape, the decor is just right, and it's well appointed - particularly the kitchen. We've rented a lot of houses in the area, and this is the first time we've ever stayed in a beach rental that had sharp knives and good pots and pans, and for people who like to cook, that's a huge plus. The back yard was secure for the pooches, the beach just a block away, and they ran themselves ragged. We'll definitely be renting this cottage again. Thank you James and Nancy. You'll see us sooner than later!"

  • Comfortable Home, Beautiful View

"I recently stayed in this perfectly situated home as part of a group of 6 women who attended nursing school together in the early 70's. We have been meeting for a "get-away" almost every year for over 40 years. This was our second time to stay in this home, and we will no doubt be returning! The home is well equipped, comfortably furnished, and has stunning views overlooking the ocean with Morro Rock in the distance. It is on a bluff, on the north end of town. Cayucos is such a charming little town, and we all fell in love with it ages ago. This home sleeps 6 adults in 3 bedrooms, has a comfortable living area, and a large, well equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ, which we did not use, and a lovely outdoor deck and small lawn. It is in a quiet area, on a bluff overlooking the sea. You can hear the ocean, and the sounds of sea lions barking and sea birds calling---very mood enhancing!! It is an easy walk into town, and there are many acres of bluffs to explore. The neighborhood is quiet--it is NOT a "party" house--which is just what we wanted. We had a bit of trouble initially because the Cable service was having difficulty and we had no signal for TV. We called Beach and Bay, and they had the "cable man" at our door in less than an hour. He fixed the problem immediately. Beach and Bay were attentive and obviously wanted us to enjoy our stay. We appreciate their prompt service when we called for help, which was late in the evening and after "office hours"."

  • Wonderful house!

"With a group that now contains some members who have mobility issues, finding this house with almost all bedrooms downstairs was a godsend. And the two of us who wound up in the upstairs suite felt very pampered. The house is also spacious and only a block from the beach. It was clean and everything worked (some places we've been have had issues). The hot tub was another bonus, though a more secure way to get in and out seems necessary. Downtown Cayucos is lovely, and Cambria, Harmony (glassworks, art gallery and winery) and Morro Bay are nearby. We definitely plan to go back again some time."

  • great beach getaway

"This small house was perfect for our family...my husband, me, daughter and dog. It was a short walk to the beach. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. We would definitely stay again."
