  • A fun visit to Ventura!

"We had the pleasure of sharing this beautifully situated cottage with family while visiting Ventura. It is located less than a minute from the beach on a quiet lane, has an expansive yard for kids (young and old) to play in, and a clean, inviting interior that is well-equipped to be a "home away from home". Apart from the beach, parks are within easy walking distance. There is easy access to streets that take one quickly into the many attractive features of Ventura (botanical gardens, farmers' markets, shopping, hiking trails, etc.). We are happy to recommend this VRBO rental."

  • We DID NOT want to leave!

"Perfect location! Very easy, short, casual walk to the beach across the street. Street is one-way and NOT busy. Bring your surfboard, too! Great beginner to intermediate waves. Great skimboarding as well. Super friendly locals! Neighbors on this private street are wonderful also. Rode bikes to grocery store, shops, and restaurants within 1-2 mile radius. Bike friendly town. House is clean and roomy for 10 (6 adults & 4 kids). Kitchen well stocked and equipped. Ocean views from large upper floor balcony/patio deck enough for all of us to sit, eat, drink, grill, play games, and enjoy family time. Finally, Michael was FABULOUS to work with. Very helpful and welcoming! Would come back again and again!"

  • Hearst visit

"We really enjoyed our stay in this home. The area was very quiet and the beds in all 3 of the rooms were very comfortable. It was only a short walk to Moonstone Beach and an easy/short drive to the downtown area. The bedrooms are on the lower level and the rest of the house is on an upper level, so there are stairs, for those that would have a problem with stairs. There are big windows that give a view of the water. The only negative was a slight musty odor when we first got there, but we are sure that is part of being so close to the water, and it went away quickly with the candles they had on hand. (Note: Robin's is a wonderful place to eat in Cambria.)"
