  • Perfect coastal family getaway

"The home was perfect for what we needed/wanted. Lovely, relaxing yard in a quite neighborhood with a nice bbq. The location was convenient for enjoying the Central Coast. We enjoyed visiting the local Farmer's Markets, breweries, wineries then coming back to enjoy our purchases. The cool breeze and fog was just what we needed leaving 109 degree temps behind in the SJ valley. I had a bike accident and was pleased to find a Urgent Care in Morro Bay. Clean, well appointed. We'd love to return!"

  • Highly recomended cottage by the water

"My husband and I stayed at the Green Cottage for two and a half very short days. I wish it could have been longer. The cottage is roomy, has lots of great lighting, has tons of personality, all the modern amenities and to top it off has a fabulous view of Morro Rock when the weather cooperates. The owners have this perfect place stocked with one of everything. Just open a drawer and whatever you need is there, from binoculars to bird watch to a fridge stocked with coffee and yogurt. We especially loved the deck and the BBQ. The location is also close to Morro Bay and Montana De Oro. I would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone."

  • Go here!

"God has allowed my wife and I to take all of our kids and grandkids for a vacation every year for about a dozen years now. The kitchen is awesome where we spend a lot of time standing around talking as we looked at at the Great View. We were kind of stunned at the list of things that Denise gave us that we could do with such warmth in her descriptions. The details were fantastic. We had to contact her a few times for further guidance as to where we were going and she was Johnny on the spot! We also had one minor difficulty during the week but she treated it like an emergency and was there immediately and had it fixed. We've been kind of used to doing everything at the place we go to for a week together but there was so much to do here we pretty much spent the mornings and evenings having fun together and the afternoons enjoying all the things that are within such a close distance. It was impressive to find literally dozens of games to play with, the pool table is gorgeous and we had hours of fun with kids from 3 to 24 competing with parents and grandparents and uncles. And I'm a terrible pool player :-) on the final day I gathered us all around and reminded them how fun it is to talk about what you liked about a movie after you left it. I asked them to tell us each what they enjoyed about the vacation. To a person the stories were wonderful. You would do well to spend time here with those you love."

"This cottage was the perfect retreat for my wife and I, and our 2 siberian huskies! We were minutes away from Morro Bay, Montana De Oro state park (watch out for rattlesnakes at the pet friendly cove, almost stepped on one!), and all dining and grocery options. House had everything we needed as we cooked and barbecued for most of our meals. Backyard was perfect for our dogs, more than large enough space with large fences that would keep even the best of leapers frustrated, and of course the coastal climate, we never touched the thermostat as the windows were kept open the entire time! We look forward to our next visit, we already miss being woke up by the roosters!"
