  • Quaint, cozy and comfortable.

"The space was perfect for my husband and I, our two and a half year old and 6 month old. It has all the comforts of home, including a dvd player, board & card games, a comfy couch and a big recliner/rocker (which was very useful for 2am feedings!) Beds were also comfy & rooms a nice size. The location is also great! Easy to get around town for groceries, etc, and centrally located for day excursions to Morro, Cayucos, Montana de Oro, or even Pismo! The homeowner is right next door, but gave us our space and was very friendly the few times we did see her. Having chickens and 2 horses on the property was a huge bonus for our little ones! Our only complaint would be that there is only "non microwave-safe" dishes, and very worn out pots and pans for cooking. Because of this, some of our groceries went unused and we ate out a few more times than we had planned! Other than that, the kitchen has good amenities- fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, just don't try to cook any big meals! There's also a very good sized "yard"/fenced in patio area with seating, fire pit & BBQ that we look forward to enjoying next time we go over!"

  • Comfortable home in fantastic location

"I stayed in the bottom unit with my husband, 7 year old, and mother and it was perfect. There are two very large bedroom suites and the home was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the grounds were gorgeously landscaped, and the views were amazing. My son loved the sandy volleyball court (we didn't even go to the beach as much as we had planned as this was so much easier and the ocean was always in sight). We had trouble with hot water and the kitchen lacked silverware but none of this really mattered in light of all the other positives. And the owner was very responsive to the issue. (Until the last day, no one was renting the upper unit, so we also had the whole grounds to ourselves, which made it particularly private and special.) Would definitely recommend this property!"

  • Inyo vacation home beyond expectations

"Spent a week at this wonderful home. I really hate to say how great this house is in fear of not getting an opportunity to rent it again. Sun room was spectacular with views of the bay and dunes. Sunsets were an event every evening with our weather being unusually clear for the coast. The house felt more like a home than a rental as the owners make sure you have your creature comforts met. Hope to make this a recurring stay. We love the central coast of California and this home is the perfect base to come back to."

  • Go here!

"God has allowed my wife and I to take all of our kids and grandkids for a vacation every year for about a dozen years now. The kitchen is awesome where we spend a lot of time standing around talking as we looked at at the Great View. We were kind of stunned at the list of things that Denise gave us that we could do with such warmth in her descriptions. The details were fantastic. We had to contact her a few times for further guidance as to where we were going and she was Johnny on the spot! We also had one minor difficulty during the week but she treated it like an emergency and was there immediately and had it fixed. We've been kind of used to doing everything at the place we go to for a week together but there was so much to do here we pretty much spent the mornings and evenings having fun together and the afternoons enjoying all the things that are within such a close distance. It was impressive to find literally dozens of games to play with, the pool table is gorgeous and we had hours of fun with kids from 3 to 24 competing with parents and grandparents and uncles. And I'm a terrible pool player :-) on the final day I gathered us all around and reminded them how fun it is to talk about what you liked about a movie after you left it. I asked them to tell us each what they enjoyed about the vacation. To a person the stories were wonderful. You would do well to spend time here with those you love."
