  • Homey and Comfortable

"My partner and I recently attended an annual conference at Asilomar Conference Center and tacked on a few extra days in Pacific Grove. The house was a delightful walk to the conference center and beach. we loved having our own kitchen to prepare our meals and really enjoyed the small town atmosphere of PG. It was a cozy and very comfy house and we enjoyed our stay so much!"

  • Family Get-Together: Jan 28 - 30, 2017

"The house is beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood only half a mile from the ocean. It is centrally located to Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, many golf courses and 17 mile drive. There are 5 bedrooms, a second floor billiard/entertainment room, and many sitting areas where one can just relax. The kitchen and dining area are spacious and there is plenty of counter space for food preparation. We especially liked relaxing in the side yard and enjoying the lovely landscaping. The owners, Nan and Robert, are very accommodating and friendly. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this unique home when visiting the Monterey Bay area."

  • My summer home away from home

"This was my second summer here and I have already reserved for 2017. Mickie is a wonderful hostess, attentive and helpful. I met her in person this summer and enjoyed her story about the home and the special treasures she shares with her guests. The home is lovely and well kept up. It feels fresh and inviting upon arrival. Mickie has provided for every need including full service DirecTV and Apple TV. I bring my laptop, but there is an Apple computer and new printer. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare meals including a Kuerig coffee machine. The beds are comfortable and each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. I love the having the bimonthly housekeeping service and readily available handyman. There is even a garage with a washer and dryer. I enjoy mornings in the rocker on the front porch and the back patio and garden are warm and sunny in the afternoon. The city lights at night are beautiful. The home is near downtown and fisherman's wharf and Trader Joe's. The summer offers opportunities for lots of cultural events from the Bach Festival to Evenings By the Bay (jazz) at the aquarium. The new Dahli museum is superb. The Monterey Sports center is 5 minutes away and offers water and exercise classes; I also take art classes at the Senior Center. I am a line dancer and have connected up with several local groups. But, nothing can surpass the natural beauty of the area. I am looking forward to returning this summer and for many summers to come."
