  • wonderful!

"My husband and I got married at Big Sur and we used Dan's home as lodging for us and a few friends for two nights. This house is very beautiful and comfortable. He has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As an example I sent him a message questioning what type of coffee maker was available so I would know what form of coffee to bring. He promptly replied with the information of three different brewing systems he had! More than ample bedding and towel supply and a wonderful kitchen. The media room is fantastic. A very large room with a huge t.v., two large fold out couches and several comfortable chairs. The rooftop deck is wonderful. His backyard is beautiful. A full deck, a beautiful fireplace, wonderful seating and lighting. Both the media room and backyard were terrific for socializing and enjoying the company of friends and family. The spa and grill looked amazing but like many wonderful features of the house we didn't get to use as we were busy. The house is very pleasant and lovely. Dan's hospitality was amazing and appreciated by all as we had a fantastic weekend filled with laughter, fun and love!"

  • Quiet, Convenient, Location, Location, Location!

"What a great place to stay! It's called an apartment but it feels more like a small home with a full-size kitchen. There's a ton of room and the layout is perfect. It's impeccably clean! Take a walk through the neighborhood, nearby shops and restaurants, or go down to the water. It's convenient to everything. Linda was there to greet me when I arrived. She's the ultimate host with great suggestions of where to eat, what to do, what to see in the area. You can sit outside at the front patio garden and enjoy a cup of coffee. The neighbors occasionally stroll by, each stopping to say "good morning". You definitely will feel right at home. Having off street parking is a huge bonus, but there is street parking available should you need it."

  • Cozy and convenient! Very charming!

"This cozy cottage is located right around the corner from Lighthouse Street which has very cute restaurants and shops. The area was very quaint and charming. It was quiet and parking was very easy. I attended a conference in Asilomar while my wife explored the area. The cottage was close to the beach and provided a good central location for all the walking around and shopping that the wife did with my dog. The lights across the street from the parking lot does stream in through the curtains from one of the bedrooms. Overall, the cottage was very cute, charming, and quiet. We will definitely stay there again."
