  • Bon Voyage Wine Tasting Trip

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent stay at On The Vine. We arrived earlier than expected and the rep helped us check in early with no issues. The property had everything we needed and more. We were able to BBQ steaks and make campfire smores after a day of wine tasting. The house was clean, comfortable, and the location is within a light strolling distance to downtown's most popular restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Special weekend for 4!

"What a wonderful getaway! We had two couples - in the area to attend a wedding at Pear Valley Winery (a beautiful place and wonderful wines!). We stopped and did a little wine tasting on the way in-- no shortage of wineries. When we arrived, we were pleased to have a garage to park in and then as we enters the home were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a 'home away from home' that looked exactly as the photos suggested! Very open, spacious and clean- decorated nicely- very comfortable beds, plenty of dishes (especially wine glasses!) - just perfect for two couples. We enjoyed the evenings and mornings out on the patio. It's very close to downtown which made for a fun day of walking, eating and shopping for the ladies, as the guys played golf at Paso Robles Golf Club- which they thoroughly enjoyed- not too difficult, and very scenic. We ate dinner ar McPhees in Templeton - (make a reservation!) and had a spectacular dinner. It's a very casual atmosphere, but the food is anything but- the Pork Chop is incredible! He next day we enjoyed coffee at Kreuzbergs and a good burger for lunch at Vic's. Saturday's are the farmers market, which always makes for some fun treats. Our afternoon and evening were spent at a wedding- Then we finished up our weekend, before heading home, at the Golden Oak Grill for Fathers Day breakfast for our guys. again, a very simple place, but such friendly wait staff and Wonderul food! Our 'Home' for the weekend was quiet, very comfortable, and a great location! We will be back to do more wine tasting and sightseeing !"

  • Wonderfully scenic and beautiful getaway

"I just spent a long weekend at Cottontail Creek Ranch with my large family to celebrate my 45th birthday and what an incredible experience at Cottontail Creek Ranch. There are so many little touches that Susan does that really made us feel incredibly welcome... from fresh flowers and fruit, to lots of little details throughout the home. It was a perfect setting for our family weekend. It's a stunning setting with the beautiful rolling hills as a backdrop, whether watching from the deck, the large circular fire pit at dusk, or on some breathtaking hikes along the ridges which we really enjoyed. And then there are many other activities on site that entertained everyone across ages... the pool, the tennis court, the bocce ball, the hot tub, ping pong, board games, etc. We stayed several days and intended to take some excursions and actually never left the property the whole time. The kitchen is fully stocked with necessarily equipment for gourmet meals which was also great. THANKS much Susan!"
