  • Celebrating and Wine Tasting

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is spacious and comfortable with most anything you might need. The views are nice and the deck provided us with delightful evening dining and conversation over wine. A doe and her 2 fawns frequented the space below the trees near the deck. We cooked quite a bit while there and found most everything we needed, including some basic spices and olive oil. The neighborhood was quiet and dark at night. If you like to party late and make some noise, don't stay here because they are strict about the 10:00 pm quiet rule. We really enjoyed the peacefulness. The negative was that you can easily hear through the walls and if you're downstairs, every sound upstairs can be heard. Additionally, while the house is basically pleasant, it would benefit from some TLC and deep cleaning rather then the surface wipe down."

  • Great vacation rental!

"My husband and I rented this wonderful home for seven weeks this fall and had a great stay. Cindy and Dan were great to work with and very responsive when we contacted them with questions. We love that this house is so close to everything - downtown Paso (which you could easily walk to!), Hwy 101, Templeton and the local farmers markets. It is an easy (and beautiful) drive to Cambria and everything that the coast offers to see and do. We found the house very clean when we arrived and everything inside was very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home. There is nothing in the house that we looked for that we couldn't find! We found the wireless network fast and reliable. We also loved that there was a garage for us to park our car. There is a great outdoor patio area, which was used almost daily for eating dinner. We traveled out there with our bikes and we started every ride right from the property. We highly recommend this property and we will absolutely return."

  • July 2016 Stay

"We had a wonderful time and a comfortable stay at this house. A few of the drains downstairs including a shower and two sinks were slow to drain, but other than that, the house was comfortable and very appropriately sized for our group. We also stayed at the Merry Hill house - one half of the group was there and the other at Downtown. They are close by and easy to gather at the Downtown house. We didn't spend much time at the houses during the day as we were wine tasting, but we made wonderful memories gathering for dinner at the Downtown house. One other small comment about the air in the downstairs area - it was very stuffy no matter how much it was on."

"The house has a fantastic view from the back deck. Tough to find shade on the deck in the afternoon. Very delightful however in the evening. Convenient to town. Grill available for cooking was a plus. Rooms are spacious and kitchen well equipped."
