  • Very nice, clean stay

"I enjoyed my time there at the house. It is very clean and organized. The house is around 2-3 block away from the beach. The manager is responsive to my questions and concerns. I would stay there again next time. One negative about the place is the poor internet access. My family and I cannot seem to get consistent signals for the internet. There is something wrong with the modem/internet service. It is unusable."

  • Book This

"First of all, if you want a quiet little beach town, Pismo Beach and the Five Cities Area is probably not it, but that was my only disappointment. This was a cute cottage and the pictures do not, in any way, do it justice. It looks small, but when you are in it, there is plenty of room. The furniture is comfortable. There were two couches and one folded out into a bed. There was a very nice refrigerator, quiet dishwasher, beautiful bathroom and generously sized bedroom. It was immaculate when we arrived. There is a laundry area three cabins back and there is a beautiful grilling/patio area. The rental company - Vacation Rental Pros was easy to work with. Depending on who you talked to, they were very friendly. A few people seemed to have zero personality. This is within easy walking distance of the beach and all restaurants. It is not a quiet area - each morning at about 5:30 AM I heard garbage trucks or huge delivery trucks. There are many people walking past, to and from the beach. There was a very sketch looking, old RV parked across the street that seemed like people were staying IN it and just parked on the street. There is VERY LITTLE parking even though it says there is parking. We had to park quite a ways up the street for the first two days. Judging from all of the hotels and houses I saw around, this was one of THE nicest. In general, Pismo was pretty grubby, but there were plenty of fun things to do. IMPROVEMENTS: When we unfolded the couch into a bed, there were A LOT of crumbs and that was gross. The bedding in the bedroom was clean but worn. The duvet and sheets had a few stains on them and that was off-putting. The condo itself was very clean, though."

  • Great Weekend

"The entire process with Beach Bum was everything I hoped for. Booking the property through HomeAway was very simple and Beach Bum's follow up was thorough. I received an email from Beach Bum that had all the details I needed. For the questions that remained, I was able to have them quickly answered via email. With the unpredictable traffic coming out of the Los Angeles area, I was unable to check-in during office hours, but Beach Bum was able to accommodate with no issues. The property was as described. The unit was clean and very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. The second (main) floor living area/kitchen had hard flooring; would highly recommend bringing slippers or house shoes for future guests! There was wifi and basic cable in the unit. The kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. Towels and linen, too. Grill worked fine. The only issue that we experienced was with the hot water. At 1030am, a member of our party took a shower that had no warm water. Crunched for time due to our 12 o'clock noon ride in the dunes, we left the unit in hopes that the water would be warm upon our return. At 430pm, there was still no hot water. I called the number Beach Bum's had provided if any issues or concerns and within 20 minutes a gentleman arrived to fix the problem. With the water heater being upstairs, it was necessary for him to come inside the unit. Not an issue for us, but might be bothersome to others. After about 10 minutes or so, the gentleman said the water should be hot in 20-30 minutes and to give him a call back if not. A half hour later and the water was hot. Problem solved."

  • Perfect Beach Location

"This property was great for our group! The layout and space accommodated 8-9 people easily. The living room and deck have a great view of the pier and the beach/ocean and you can hear the waves crashing outside. The beds and were comfortable. The BBQ has a gas connection and was easy to use. Lots of room for parking including a garage. The location is hard to beat, within a couple minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Pismo. Laurie sent out great information about the place and how to get in. She was very responsive with any questions we had. I would definitely stay at this house again!"
