  • House-Cottage Combo worked well for our first family reunion

"My three kids and their families, 6 adults, a teenager, and three kids, fit easily into this facility (with one king bedroom to spare). The family with the only teenager stayed in the cottage (away from the noise and commotion of the little ones), but joined in the meals and other activities. The accommodations in all of the rooms were excellent, and the kitchen facilities were clean and complete. Everyone wanted and used the available online service. When I booked this place, I was unaware that the annual Car Show was going to be held in Pismo Beach the very same weekend as my rental. On Saturday and Sunday after about 10 AM, the entire downtown was a madhouse and traffic there was impossible. Fortunately this rental is nearly a mile north of town center, so once we had the provisions for our stay, we were not very affected by the crowds. The local beach is accessible from this rental via a short walk and 122 steps down a sturdy wooden stairway. We used that beach every day, and it was never crowded. The beach toys in the garage were more than adequate for our crew, and we used them a lot. Swing sets on the beach were within walking distance on the beach (about 3/4 mile). The kids also enjoyed Dinosaur Park at Shell Beach a little over a mile (on a sidewalk if you walk) from the house. Kayaking and ATV rentals were available nearby (although we never got around to them), but we did use the free tennis courts only a short drive away in town. There are TV sets in every bedroom and in the living room as well, but only the one in the living room had a DVD player. It was old, but it did work. (I showed old family movies converted to DVD's every evening.) A great venue for this sort of gathering!"

  • Beautiful

"My family and I rented this house for a week. The house was nice. The kitchen was small but very functional. The view from the top deck was so spectacular we spent every evening watching the sunset. Getting up and walking 2 steps to the beach was just awesome. I can't tell you enough how wonderful the week was. The beds were comfortable and there were boogie boards and Marshmellow sticks available to use. (Which was very handy). We didn't have to go purchase them. We had a fire every night right on the beach. My dogs got to go and they loved it. The only thing I wish I knew. was the house is close to the entrance to the dunes. Friday and Saturday was a mad house. We couldnt go hang out by the beach because of the cars. But it was very entertaining to watch all the people get stuck. Lol. Nell the owner was great. I would defiantly stay here again."

  • Book This

"First of all, if you want a quiet little beach town, Pismo Beach and the Five Cities Area is probably not it, but that was my only disappointment. This was a cute cottage and the pictures do not, in any way, do it justice. It looks small, but when you are in it, there is plenty of room. The furniture is comfortable. There were two couches and one folded out into a bed. There was a very nice refrigerator, quiet dishwasher, beautiful bathroom and generously sized bedroom. It was immaculate when we arrived. There is a laundry area three cabins back and there is a beautiful grilling/patio area. The rental company - Vacation Rental Pros was easy to work with. Depending on who you talked to, they were very friendly. A few people seemed to have zero personality. This is within easy walking distance of the beach and all restaurants. It is not a quiet area - each morning at about 5:30 AM I heard garbage trucks or huge delivery trucks. There are many people walking past, to and from the beach. There was a very sketch looking, old RV parked across the street that seemed like people were staying IN it and just parked on the street. There is VERY LITTLE parking even though it says there is parking. We had to park quite a ways up the street for the first two days. Judging from all of the hotels and houses I saw around, this was one of THE nicest. In general, Pismo was pretty grubby, but there were plenty of fun things to do. IMPROVEMENTS: When we unfolded the couch into a bed, there were A LOT of crumbs and that was gross. The bedding in the bedroom was clean but worn. The duvet and sheets had a few stains on them and that was off-putting. The condo itself was very clean, though."

  • Well maintained, comfort with beautiful views.

"We have been staying at this property every summer for years now. We rent both houses and they are well maintained, clean, have very comfortable beds and gorgeous ocean views all within a very short walk to the beach. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, the kids take surfing lessons every summer and rent bicycles for afternoon rides. Endless Summer 1&2 are a perfect fit for us, our kids and grandkids to spend a week relaxing and making life long memories together."
