  • Family Reunion

"I was looking for a 6 bedroom home for our cousin reunion in a central California location. This beautiful home certainly met that and more. The booking was very easy and Daniel was able to quickly respond and answer any questions. Michiko was on site to explain everything about the house, Jacuzzi and sauna. The house was very well appointed with every thing that we needed and more. I have stayed at some VRBO's where the minimum is provided and this was a welcome change. We especially liked the long table on the veranda that easily accommodated everyone for meals. I would highly recommend this home for a large group. There is space for everyone."

  • Wonderful cottage, close to SLO downtown

"My husband and me spent a month at the cottage and it was really the perfect location for us. The cottage is close to downtown, in a very quite neighborhood. You have plenty of things to do nearby or you can just walk to downtown: the location allows you to choose doing something different each morning. The cottage is perfectly furnished and kept, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook when you are on holiday. But if you don't like cooking, you can go to the restaurant (very close) or you can wait the delivery of your pizzas on the comfortable sofa, while waching the tv. The bed is comfortable and soft, too. The cottage is perfect for 2, but has enough room for 4. The main room is quite big and the bedroom too. The wall heater work well, so they heat the whole room very well. The garden is really wondeful: there are some seats in the back yard of the main house and also a lovely private yard, with many tables and chairs. We spent a month there, so we appreciated a lot also the complimentary wi-fi and w/d. But most of all, we really appreciated Pam and Jeff: two wonderful people, very friendly and kind! I recommend to stay there when visiting SLO!!!!"

  • Retro Cozy!

"My family stayed in the guesthouse for a week long vacation. The setting of this ranch was unbelievable! We had views of large open fields and rolling hills one way, and views of vineyards from the back yard! The weather was perfect and we spent much of our time on the patio or playing games in the yard. The house is charming and comfortable with a slightly retro feel, and"

  • Birthday celebration

"My group of 5 had a great time celebrating by birthday in and around Santa Margarita. Our stay at the Windmill House was more than comfortable. The house was inviting, and "B" was very accommodating. While in town, we went wine-tasting at a few places, including one near the house - Soaring Hawk, which was a gem of a find (thanks B!). We also went on a Zip Line tour at Margarita Adventures. I would highly recommend them for newbies or experienced Zippers! All-in-all, we had a great time and when I return for more fun, I'll check out the Windmill House or the other house on the property!"
