"We have stayed here 4 times & loved the house every time. It has a great location & many amenities. We especially liked the well laid out kitchen & beautiful dining room table. The owners were responsive & returned our deposit promptly."

  • Real Bargain in Great Location

"Spent Christmas week with extended family and had a wonderful stay. Because the RR tracks are between the beach and most of the town, Capinteria has retained a small town atmosphere; not a T-shirt shop anywhere on the main drag or any where else that I noticed. The block walk to cross the tracks to the beach was well worth it. You can walk the few blocks to good restaurants and about anything else on the main street. It's nice to spend a week with little need for a car. We are so glad we didn't stay in Santa Barbara which is only 12 minutes away if the urge strikes, but in the winter, anyway, Carpinteria is way more relaxing. The house is very nice with a large master bedroom and at a bargain price."

  • Love this town. Love this house.

"My family and I try to get to Carpinteria every summer. It is our favorite little beach town. Over the years, we have stayed here three times and we really like this house. The location is great (close to the beach but not right on it) and the house is comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again."

  • Beachfront Bliss

"This charming, cozy, beachfront cottage and annex provided the perfect setting for a relaxed family getaway. Inside and out, the buildings are well-maintained vintage bungalows. The galley kitchen and bathroom in the main house appear to be brand new, but both the main cottage and the annex featured comfortable, top of the line furnishings and bedding. The outdoor, ocean-facing deck has ample seating for dining or relaxing, and the four-function outdoor shower is a real treat after a day of surfing or building sand castles. The beach is very private, so you'll feel like you're in your own oasis. One of the major highlights was seeing pods of dolphins swim along the shoreline several times a day. A five minute walk down the road is the Padaro Beach Grill - perfect for delicious, casual dining. Jackie was a delightful, helpful, accommodating hostess. This is a special place and we hope to return someday soon."
