  • All the space you can handle

"We had a great time staying at The Cottages at Polo Run. If you are looking for a place with lots of room for outdoor activities, this is the spot. It has beautiful grounds and great views of the next door polo grounds and horse stables. I don't know much about polo but it sure was fun to watch. Centrally located in a quiet area that is very near the beach and a short ride to downtown Santa Barbara. I highly recommend this spot if you are traveling in a group."

  • Exceptional Honeymoon Stay for the Newly Married

"My wife and I wanted a honeymoon house near Santa Barbara and Montecito to stay in for a few days when we got married. This house literally has it all. A beautiful master bedroom and bed, windows overlooking the pool/yard area, a hot tub, a pool, little woodland creatures (squirrels/rabbits) that come by right into the yard, an outdoor fire pit to make smores at, a fully appointed kitchen and two fireplaces in two separate living rooms. We had a lovely time cooking breakfasts and dinners together, sipping wine by the gorgeous stone fireplace, sitting by our campfire outside, walking through the little garden, watching TV, and swimming and lounging in the hot tub/jacuzzi. Pool toys were included! A very very romantic setting and it felt like we were playing house in a perfect place. The house was clean and very warm and inviting. The owners Ed and Joan were very nice and easy to work with, and they helped me set it up for the honeymoon. We stayed for about 4 days. It was like a sanctuary and home away from home, very peaceful and beautiful. We were literally 5-10 minutes from everywhere we could want to be - montecito and santa barbara. It was no problem to drive to all those places to go to lunch or go out in santa barbara. Before I rented this place, i was looking into a lot of other hotels and bed-and-breakfasts, and this was basically the same amount of money but WAY more bang for the buck. there is NO way a bed and breakfast or cottage or hotel room would give us this much room and stuff for the money. If you are looking for a very memorable and beautiful, quiet, honeymoon location to rest up after your wedding, this place is awesome. If you have a family, then there is no question about it- this place is excellent. there's tons of room, several places to sleep, two bathrooms, a big dining table, a very cozy living room, and the backyard is unbeatable. You can totally just hang out there for days."

  • FENG SHUI !!!

"I want to Thank the owners for sharing their lovely home with me . It was charming, nicely decorated. I loved the landscaping, with ocean view. It is a close drive to town. Although the map was a bit confusing, just follow the directions and you will get there. I liked this location for it is private and quiet if your an artist or writer wanting to get a little work in. One thing I would add is more cook ware for the foodies, a curton in the bathroom and kitchen would also be nice. It is very neat, clean, and beds are comfortable. The manager Kindle was very polite and helpful too. I will return to this property ! Loved it ! Best Regards, Shelly N."

  • A Gourmet Kitchen

"Though the house is in a quiet neighborhood, it's so close to the beach and the 'downtown' of Carpinteria. The house has everything one needs or wants, including a well-stocked kitchen. A great house for a family reunion."
