  • Lovely Weekend

"My family rented the Grand Mediterranean for a weekend in late January. It was the perfect place for us. Plenty of communal space in the living room, dining room, and on the veranda. Nice ocean view from the back and awesome mountain view in the front. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to work in. Of course, the hot tub and outdoor fireplace were wonderful plusses. We hope to stay in this place again in the future. The Mesa area is close to both downtown and the harbor, so it's an ideal location. I wish it were mine!"

  • review secret getaway

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Santa Barbara, a lot because of the nice apartment. The Secret Getaway is a wonderful place to stay, so close to the beach and downtown. We also liked the perfectly equipped kitchen that had as cook more often than we had actually planned, enjoying the small terrasse in the evening sun. Just perfect."

  • Perfect cozy get away by the sea

"This was our fourth stay at Creekside Montecieto and certainly, not our last. The studio sits back behind Nicola and Cliff's lovely house and garden on top of their garage, in the trees, as I like to think. There is everything you need in the large open room, with a large separate light filled bathroom. The windows all around afford light and a cool cross breeze. The bed is big and very comfortable. The living area has a small kitchen, no stove, but a fridge and microwave and all the necessities to make a good breakfast or afternoon or evening snacks,. There's a couch and chair for tv watching and a radio and CD player. Everything is thoughtfully and artfully decorated, so it's a pleasure to be in the space. The little balcony with a table and chairs is a perfect place to have breakfast or to sit with a good book. There's also a lovely grassy area with comfortable chairs for lounging and reading. The beach is a three minute walk away. And you can walk, bike, or drive to restaurants, shops, cafes, and a great little bookstore in about 5-10 minutes. It's perfect! Nicola and Cliff are delightful and gracious hosts without being intrusive. This little place is the best retreat in Santa Barbara."

  • cozy and totally relaxing

"what a lovely time we had at this fabulous hide away called Hidden Cove. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the beach access (lots of stairs) and you can walk to Henry's Boathouse on the Beach. Close by are awesome markets and other restaurants too. The Hidden Cove feels so secluded and comfortable, the patio with water feature is romanticly lit and the patio furniture and BBQ were clean and ready to use. The artistic touches inside give so much character and everything is clean, well functioning and just perfect. We did not really cook, mostly heated up left overs and relaxed."
