  • Thanksgiving Getaway

"We were pleased with the house and garden we rented over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The furnishings in the apartment were set up well, and everything was functioning well, with the exception of the satellite television, which was working inconsistently. It was not a huge deal. Though the unit was clean, there was a musty smell we noticed upon walking in, and it permeated even our clean clothes. I know a part of this is because it is a coastal property, but if there were more windows that could be opened, it would have alleviated this issue for us. This didn't ruin our stay by any means, just a note for the property manager. Funky design style made this a homey apartment. Beach access was a plus, as well."

  • Wonderful from start to finish!

"We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home! The owner is a true pleasure to work with. I was working on a few different legs of our vacation and mixed up the dates that we wanted to stay in Santa Barbara. The owner was more than willing to work with me and thankfully had our correct dates available - saving our vacation! The house was just as described and perfect for meeting up with our friends with our children (4 adults, 4 children). The loft area was perfect for the kids to zone out in after an exhausting day at the beach or exploring the city. The outdoor area was perfect for hanging out eating and catching up. The house itself is beautiful and in a great location. It's just a three block walk down to Shoreline Park where there are walking paths, fields to run or play soccer/football/etc., a playground and views galore! Just down from there is Ledbetter Beach and a little further is the pier. The Mesa is also a fun place for runners as there are a lot of cool houses to see - although be ready for some hills! We also enjoyed walking up the Mesa to the wonderful restaurants located there. After we left, we realized that one of our children had left a stuffed bear that she had had since she was born. The owner immediately got in touch with the cleaning service, they found the bear and sent it to us - saving my daughter from even more tears! Phew. We also received our deposit reimbursement in a timely manner! We couldn't have had a better time and have already started planning our return trip! We highly recommend staying in this lovely home!"

  • Gorgeous view and outdoor space!

"Amazing view of the ocean which just glowed in the sunset. The outdoor patio / deck was huge and a wonderful place to relax and admire the view, with plenty of room for everyone. The bungalow home was quite cozy and felt like a home well loved, with books and family touches throughout. The snacks and wine provided were a thoughtful gift from the hosts, which we promptly enjoyed. And the plethora of towels and linens made sure we were comfortable and able to relax. Close proximity to downtown and the beach, a quick drive away led us right to the heart of Santa Barbara. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
