  • Convenient and clean!

"This place is great! Super cute, right downtown, and includes a cute yard space. The parking spot is hard! Ack! But workable...I used it with a small SUV. The management was great when I thought I lost a valuable item. Thank you for the hospitality and we can't wait to stay again!"

  • perfection in Santa Barbara

"We spent a month in Santa Barbara in what is truely a Jewel, Lillies Hideaway in the spectacular Alma del Pueblo. The owner has personalized it as I imagine her own home to be., outfitted to a tee. We asked for nothing. This little jewel box is located in the spectacular beautiful building Alma de Pueblo, in the vibrant Theater/Arts section of Santa Barbara. with the best restaurants Santa. Barbara has to offer. The visit is enhanced by the very friendly and capable concierge, Rhonda who will answer any and all of your guesions and guide you seemlesly through your month. We topped off out stay a with a dinner party for 20 in the Club room., service for 20 with cocktails next door on the spectacular roof garden, food as well for a snooze in the afternoon. We will stay there again, cannot wait!!"

  • Nice Retreat with Family Ties

"We stayed at this house for 7 nights between Xmas and New Years´s and had an overall good experience. The house is nicely located in the Santa Barbara Mission district within a very walkable residential neighborhood. the Spanish style house is very typical for Santa Barbara and this updated property fits right in. The beautifully landscaped garden is perfect for entertaining and relaxing, albeit in winter is was too cool for us. The pool is quite nice, but in winter takes 2 days to heat up. Probably a request to the owners beforehand that their caretaker switches the heat pump on is a good idea. The kitchen is very well equipped with the state of that art appliances you can expect for this rate and on the plus side has more of the pots, pans, chef´s knives and cooking equipment we had seen before. The outside Weber grill is fantastic and connected to a gas line - no worries about tanks! If you´re comfortable staying in a house with many personal-of-the-owners reminders, this is a wonderful place and you feel right at home. The plus of this arrangement is that you don´t have to buy each and every item as if renting a holiday condo (i.e. TP, laundry detergent, handsoaps, etc.). We only had one small electrical problem with a light fixture and a call to the caretaker was immediately responded to. Friendly Lupe came over at once took care of the issue. The owners, although across the country during our stay, were thoughtfully in touch to check up on us if everything is OK. Check-in and Check-out was easy with the instructions. We had a happy week in Santa Barbara at Casa di Fiori."
