  • Great views, comfortable House.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Riviera Regency. The home was very comfortable and had beautiful views and beautiful furnishings. The only things we would suggest are towel racks/hooks in the master bathroom sink area. We had to leave our towels on drawers with them open to dry and hang. Also, I would suggest there be more plates/bowls etc. If you have 8 people there you must start the dishwasher every time you have a meal and its hardly full. We had extended family for a meal and had to go out and buy plates! Overall, the house is great though."

  • A wonderful get away right on the beach.

"This was a wonderful rental! It was clean, neat and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need, and it has tons of chairs, umbrellas, etc for beach-sitting. The location on Carpinteria beach couldn't be beat, it was fantastic. Literally walk out the door, take two steps, and you're on sand! There were also little gifts for us when we arrived which made us feel very welcome. Finally Carpinteria is a great little town, we loved how it's smaller and more quaint than Santa Barbara: we felt like we were off the beaten path and could really relax and recuperate. All aspects of our stay was wonderful! We've already talked about coming back in the future."

  • Great home for gatherings

"We booked this home for a family vacation and enjoyed it immensely. We had a group of 10 people and not only were the bedrooms ample with comfortable beds, but the living area and outside deck offered us plenty of room. The view from the deck was amazing and so relaxing to have our dinners and morning coffee we felt like we were staying in the Tuscan countryside a million miles away! The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare our meals and enjoy all the comforts of home. Although there was a large television in the family room and a TV in each bedroom we never turned any of them on and instead just enjoyed the relaxing feel of the home and playing games out on the deck. The drive into town is about 10 minutes, but due to the parking issues in town because it was Fiesta weekend, we chose to use Uber and Lyft which were very available at all times. Although this has nothing to do with the house itself I have to comment on Karen the owner and how incredibly easy and accomodating she was to work with. On the last night we were there, my daughter had an emergency appendectomy, which caused us to have to stay another night. My husband and I were madly trying to find a hotel to move to, but when I emailed Karen to just ask if it would be ok to extend our check out time, she responded quickly by telling us to just stay in the house and not to worry about it. I can't tell you how touched we were by her generosity and feel the need to thank her again and again. Outside of the emergency, we had a great time and this house exceeded our expectations and would rent it again in a heartbeat!"

  • Beautiful property with landscaped gardens and a fabulous view of Santa Barbara Channel

"This two-room apartment was a comfortable size for the three of us. The apartment was well provisioned with food and beverages to get us started on arrival. We appreciated simple amenities such as scissors and tape to wrap Christmas presents. The owners were very friendly and helpful, while respecting our privacy. We found the master bed softer than our preference. The swimming pool is beautiful. Morning swim and watching the hummingbird feed was a highlight of the day. We could easily spend a month there."
