  • Delightful Santa Barbara Cottage

"My wife and I spent 5 nights in this one-of-a-kind cottage on a hill just above the historic Santa Barbara Mission. The cottage had one bedroom and one bath plus full kitchen and a living/dining room with a gas fireplace. It also has two separate patios surrounded by luscious gardens and a gas grill. The cottage was well equipped; it had everything we needed. The neighborhood is peacful with little traffic and lots of nice walks. Parking is plentiful. You do need a car to stay here, as it is 20+ minutes to walk to downtown or grocery stores. We definitely plan to renturn for a longer stay next year and would highly recommend this cottage to friends and family. It's a real gem! The owners live next door and are very helpful, but you won't know they are there unless you need them."

  • Quaint stone cottage

"We loved this quaint little stone cottage on a beautiful property. The owners live just next door but we didn't see them and felt like we were in our own place. The inside is beautiful and everything is new. Loved the bottle of red wine as a welcome gift. It's a few miles outside of Solvang but it's quick to get there by car and we prefer to be out of town anyway. 3 times as we came up the driveway we saw a family of 6 deer. That's when you know you're in the country!"

  • Perfectly Quaint Cottage

"What a place to stay! We enjoyed the coziness of the house, the large patio for dining and outdoor area for our daughter to play! Overall, an excellent experience! We definitely recommend! A few things we didn't have were some household amenities like dish soap, salt and extra paper goods. The wood floors are original and quite noisy (we had to be creative with a sleeping baby) but other than that, this is a perfect place to stay for a small family or a couple wanting to get away. A quick walk to the beach, zoo and parks! Excellent stay!"

  • Delightful Respite close to Downtown

"When the first words out of your mouth upon seeing the home are “This is even cuter than the pictures”, you know you have made the right choice. Newly remodeled kitchen was perfect for tea, coffee, and prepping food for a wine tasting weekend. The bedrooms were charming with closets to hang up your clothes and donned with quite comfortable beds. We came during winter and the floor heating was perfect. Family and friends can sit, chat, and play games in the living room with a darling fireplace. This charming 1920’s home is a short walk (15 minutes or about a mile) to State Street for tasting rooms and nice restaurants. When not out at the wineries we walked everywhere which was quite convenient as parking downtown can be hard. Maggie, the owner, was accessible for questions and even left us an amazing welcome basket to go with our wine tasting weekend. The next time we come to Santa Barbara we are definitely coming back here."
