  • Gorgeous view and outdoor space!

"Amazing view of the ocean which just glowed in the sunset. The outdoor patio / deck was huge and a wonderful place to relax and admire the view, with plenty of room for everyone. The bungalow home was quite cozy and felt like a home well loved, with books and family touches throughout. The snacks and wine provided were a thoughtful gift from the hosts, which we promptly enjoyed. And the plethora of towels and linens made sure we were comfortable and able to relax. Close proximity to downtown and the beach, a quick drive away led us right to the heart of Santa Barbara. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

  • Didn't Want To Leave!

"This was by far, the best beach house experience yet! The house was even better than the pictures. The living room was spacious and the couches were very comfortable. The Television was a nice size and cable was provided so you could watch your favorite shows. The kitchen was roomy and fully stocked. I loved that you could enjoy a meal at the table or sitting at the island. The half bath on this floor was bigger than you would expect and convenient when you didn't want to walk upstairs. The bedrooms upstairs were all a nice size and the beds were comfortable. The Queen bedroom had a television, plenty of closet space and double doors that opened to a small balcony with a fun view of the street. The Double bedroom was very bright and sunny. It also had lots of closet space and was the quietest room in the house. The bathroom on this floor was beautiful! Lots of room and a really nice shower. The Master Bedroom was spacious with ample closet space, a television, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The master bath was roomy, and had a nice vanity with a stool for putting on makeup on one side and a nice high sink and counter space on the other. There was also a Jacuzzi tub/shower combo. My favorite, though was keeping the windows open at night to hear the waves crashing on the beach. What a treat! The third floor had a wonderful sun deck. Even on windy days, we were sheltered on this deck, so there was no need to sit on the beach and get sand blown in our faces. We just relaxed and watched the waves in warmth from the sun deck. This house is located on the best street in Santa Cruz. You walk out your door and are less than half a short block from the entrance to Seabright (Twin Lakes) Beach. There are so many places you can walk to from here. If you are like us, you can bring bikes and ride to the Boardwalk, Wharf, Harbor and lots of other places around town. Grocery stores and eating establishments are all within walking/biking distance, so you really don't even need to use a car if you don't want to. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we can't wait to go back again next year!"

  • West Cliff Hideaway made it easy to vist Santa Cruz area

"Close to the beautiful cliff top to walk and watch the sunsets in the evening and to hear seals barking in the morning, this was a great location for us to stay in Santa Cruz. It is in a quaint neighborhood full of amazing flowering shrubs and fruit trees. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed,; the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Robbin has a great selection of DVDs for the evenings when we just needed to kick back. Robbin was a delightful host..she goes to a lot of trouble to answer any questions about how everything works, and brought us extra pillows to help me with an injured arm. Her recommendations of restaurants that were close-by were excellent. We recommend this hideaway to everyone."

  • Purely enchanted getaway

"If you find yourself lucky enough to be heading to the amazingly beautiful Big Sur area, you would do particularly well to stay at this purely enchanted Getaway. The location is filled with unparalleled serenity and beauty. All nature surrounds you as you are nestled in this fabulously designed, spotless cabin filled with beautifully appointed creature comforts, surrounded with tremendous majestic views of enormous redwoods and stream. We appreciated the exquisite calm and pure remote feeling offered. Thank you so very much. We cannot wait to return, possibly in a completely different season."
